Awesome!! Velimirovic was my favourite weapon in my younger days! The great Bobby Fischer & Dr John Nunn played some amazing games in this line. I switched to Rauzer attack after facing 6...Qb6 ,which takes fun out of these positions.

On Qb6 even Nb3 with typical set up afterwards, Bd3, Be3, Nb3 and Nc3 followed by Qf3, g4-g5 and attack! 💪😉

@MiodragPerunovicOfficial Yes Yes, I remember a game Kasparov vs Anand ,1994, in that game Kasparov continued Bf4 Ne5, Be2 and later continued in Classical Scheveningen style with Bf3 0-0 and g4. 1-0 A more recent example is Vidit - Firouzja , Candidate 2024 ; continues in a similar way Nb3 Bf4 but Vidit castles queen side in the spirit of English attack with Qd2 and 0-0-0 and result was 1-0

Thank you for solving half of my Bc4 problems against the d6 Sicilian. Is there any way you can cover Bc4 against d6 dragon? Would be very helpful to know how to play like Fischer and Tate.

Mio , can you please make a video lecture on white side of Sicilian Kan with an interesting move 6.Qf3 with the idea of long castle and attack! 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nd4 a6 5.Nc3 Qc7 6.Qf3!?

Incredible how vicious this Velimirovic system is, all due to that simple little Rg1 👍...Thanks for showing this to us. Now, you did mention that this is not effective if black plays ...Nbd7 and that being said, can you recommend a line white can play against Nbd7, if you don't have it in one of your great videos?
