We need to pray for Mark Driscoll. He was impressed by by the holy spirit regarding the sin being perpetrated at that conference. John Huss recanted too but then he prayed, repented and when he was brought before the papal councils, he spoke even stronger for the bible and the Reformation. I truly hope that the Lord strongly impresses Mark Driscoll to repent, to embrace all truth and stand for truth no matter what. May he allow bible truth to change and lead him.

On the point of why we emphasized on the Sabbath so much and not the other 9 Commandments, in Mat 18 vs 12-13, If a man has 100 sheep and lose one, he goes searching for the 1 that is lost. Likewise in 9 vs 12-13, only the sick needs a physician. The Sabbath is clearly the ONLY Commandment on which a breach is made, we are called the repairer of the breach. Let's fix it

I face this same situation in my local Church. So much apostasy, the leaders are allowing any and everything into our Church and when i first moved to that Church i could not understand how the congregation was so quiet about these things. I felt such a burden on my heart and I had to speak out and for a while i felt alone, and i prayed to God and said Lord why is this congregation sleeping and blind, until God said to me one day "He has 7000 left in Israel who have not bowed the knee to baal". From that time i noticed that others started to speak up against the apostasies and cry aloud.

It was not done private, so it should not have been handled to private. It did not just involve that pastor it involved our meeting people were there. If he had a went to the pastor privately, the congregation never would have heard anything about it and they would have still been under the deception. Without realizing what was done was wrong.

In Daniel 9:23-24, the Angel explained the 2300 day/year prophecy to Daniel. 70 weeks of that prophecy was for the Jews 70 wks X 7 =490 days which is 490 years. During that time, Jerusalem laid in ruin, but this was as a result of disobedience. What disobedience did God stressed on, surely the people were breaking all 10 commandments, adultery, stealing and lying, but listen to God telling Israel what would come upon their land for their disobedience and why. Lev 26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. Lev 26:34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. Lev 26:35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it. While the land is desolate for 70 weeks, 490 years, it is enjoying its Sabbath rest Think about the Millennium, that 1000 years of peace that many love to talk about. It will be the Sabbath rest that has been violated by mankind during its time of probation, and God will ensure that the earth rest for every single violation. As he created the earth in 6 days and rested on the Seventh , almost symbolically, the earth has its 6000=6days of work and 1000=1day of rest The Sabbath MUST be Kept and it is so sad that the Church attribute Sabbath breaking to the Apostle Paul when it is plainly written in Acts 17:2, As was Paul CUSTOM, MANNER, WAYS OF LIFE, he went to the sanctuary on the Sabbath. When you have outside congregation s visiting an SDA Church the parameters of the wearing of jewelry and dress should be handled BEFORE they arrive to participate in the church program. Visiting non SDA pastors shouldn't take part from the SDA pulpit anyway

I would love this ministry interview my brother in Christ. Not just about his 20 years as a transgender person. But his meeting Christ and conversion. He desperately needs mentoring. He stood up against the pastor marrying a member of the church that committed adultery on his third wife in December 2022 and then this member met a new lady in the spring of 2023, moved in with her and had a relationship that is reserved for a husband and wife. The local church pastor did marry them in August 2023 despite this church member having no biblical grounds to divorce his third wife. So my brother in Christ stood up against this and many leaders in the church are against him.

I have been Adventist over 40 years and prior to that I was Baptist. The podcasters, although knowledgable, are coming across as holier than thou in Some situations. I don't wear jewelry, but I see jewelry wearing all around me at my Adventist church. You have to deal with people where they are and in a loving manner.If you invite a Sunday choir to your Adventist church, you should expect jewelry wearing. Most probably have not been shown the scriptures on that topic and because they wear jewelry, does not mean they are not sincere Christians. If you want them to be exposed to all of God's word, then you should invite them to church to hear it. That is how I became Adventist. Sometimes we come across so hard and unloving that people don't want to come to our churches. Represent Christ and preach the truth but allow the Holy Spirit to work on people's hearts in his own time. At the same time, I'm not saying we should allow anything and everything to enter our churches.

I guess it's how you hear it my sister. It didn't come across as holier than thou to me. I think that when the truth is spoken direct at times it might seem harsh. Remember in John 6 when Jesus, Love Himself, spoke truth many of His disciples stopped following Him and left Him. There was nothing wrong with what He said. They received it a certain way and chose to disassociate themselves with the Source of Life. As for jewelry,I have been an Adventist all my life and we never used to wear jewelry as a people. It hurts my soul that we are now ok with idolatry 😢. May the Lord soften the hearts of all His children to hear His truth and to choose to follow Him, even if at first what is spoken makes them uncomfortable. Truth is truth, it changes not and yes, it must always be presented in love for God and others. God bless you.

Jesus dealt with people in love and not in condemnation. You can't expect people who are not Adventist , that you invite to your church, to be dressed like you- that is a holier than thou attitude the way I see it. How about treating them with kindness when they come to your church,so they will want to come back. Give God time to work on people through his Holy Spirit. God has to constantly work on us and our sins.

Brother Jared, I need to know the verse you referred to that GOD tells us the day we are to worship HIM? There’s not a single verse of scripture that GOD delineates a particular day to ‘worship’ HIM. The 4th commandment tells us on what day we should ‘rest.’ Rest and worship are not the same thing. 1:30:44. We worship whom we obey when we obey. And, the days of the week have no names they are numbered, we need to stop referring to the pagan names of the days. Saturday begins at midnight and ends at midnight. The 7th day has no name. I speak in love.

I was hoping that you guys would have covered this incident. You did a sufficient job talking about what occurred with Mark Driscoll. I am upset to see that you guys did not cover the actual event in enough detail! Mark looks like a positive figure for his actions which may in turn draw people to him to hear his messages. However, the very fact he was even at this abomination of an event in the first place should be enough information needed to know his fruits as well as the James New River church and this Stronger Mens Confrence! Look into the event! Death metal, rap, tanks, guns, dirt bikes, and stunts just a few things they do to "evenagelize" everyone here and make them "stronger men". Are each off these things evil by itself, not necessarily. But in the name of the Lord?! Get out of here and a stripper as a cherry on top. This event is nothing more than a cash grab opportunity for the organizers and a Friday night Monster Jam entertainment festival for the attendees. A spirit is certainly at this event!!! It's not our Heavenly Fathers spirit however and Mark Driscoll is just a pawn in the adversaries game.
