Had to unsub so this is my go to Bible reading from now onwards, I'll happily listen to adds at the beginning and let them play also at the end but all the way through is not good, seeing as yt is free to use and they're just uploading a pre recorded Bible reading. Me too. I weep for many reasons as we travel through the book of Revelation. For the lost. For those deceived on the earth. Such terrible, awful, frightening, unimaginable things are coming. I cry because they will miss out on the most wonderful, the most breathtaking things that are coming for each believer. I weep in gratitude because it is only because of the grace of God that my life has been on the path it has and I have been privileged to hear the gospel so many years ago because of other peoples faithfulness. I weep because things are coming swiftly to an end and I could’ve done so much more.

I’ve never been through revelation, but I took a nap yesterday afternoon and had a dream. I was standing on a street corner in my town, and we were all looking up at the sky. Something had gone horribly wrong with the sun. It was like it had died, but was not completely darkened. But you could look at it easily without hurting your eyes. It was reduced to a pale white light, with a very minor amount of orange/yellow around the perimeter, and there was a gray ring around it like that of Saturn, but it was in a horizontal direction, not lateral like we would normally expect. And it’s orbit had drastically changed. It was orbiting the earth every few minutes. And it was at that point that the world had finally accepted that this was the end of days. The main point conveyed to me was the absolute sorrow of the world that was experienced when everyone realized it was too late. Then just now I began listening to this audio version of revelation, and lo and behold 8:12 reiterated my dream

Blessed Lent, Christopher! Fr. Stephen De Young's verse-by-verse review of Revelation is starting to be released on his podcast The Whole Counsel of God. The Introduction is excellent because he goes over the long, winding road Revelation took to get accepted by The Church. He also dispels many myths about what the book is and is not. Can't recommend it enough!
