Mir 20 mm f 3,5 VS Carl Zeiss jena Flektogon 20 mm f 4

These two iconic lenses are brothers ! Mir 20 mm was made in ex USSR and Carl Zeiss Flektogon was made in GDR in Jena factories.

The flek has no distortion, while the mir has some corner distortion. Also, another important info i think is that the mir doesn't have a filter thread. Im thinking of buying a 20mm vintage, which lenses do u recommend other than these two?

well, I must say, that you've got a good MIR20. I've got tree of them, and all are different. I mean sharpness, distortions, chromatic abberations etc. Even the build quality is different.

To my eyes, Mir is better wide open, but stop down Zeiss win. Mir also has rainbow flare
