I just thought she was very pretty - I had no idea she was Asian. And it really doesn't matter. She is a find and a very fine dancer.

They call her, "Asian-American", which to most people refers to Oriental people with American citizenship. Her mother is genetically Indian and her father is Caucasian. She is not Oriental at all. She is a half-white/half Indian. People need to bring back the term, "Oriental", to distinguish between Orientals and Indians, and not just lump them together when they are two different races.

In England and some other places, “Asian” refers first and foremost to south Asians (ie, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, etc).
