I just watched Nira perform as the lead Sugar Plum Fairy role in the 12/2 performance of the NYC Ballet's "The Nutcracker" and she was mesmerizing. So talented and lovely. I wish her much success on what should be an illustrious career.

I'm so glad Mira is making a success at NYCBallet and is now a principal! That is amazing. I wish I could see her, but I had to move out of town. What I have found, not to throw cold water on her or any dancer - but dancing is a very precarious thing. You must maintain good health, eat right, go to bed early to have enough sleep - and do all the healthy things they tell you to do. But still, there are injuries and someone may be sidelined and not able to dance until she gets better. I wish Mira all the luck in the world and wish I could see her dance!

Mira has that special something that makes your eyes go to her on stage no matter what roles she is dancing. I saw her perform the Tall Girl in Rubies last night - she was phenomenal!

Seeing that clip of her dancing when she was younger and pre SAB and NYCB…all the other dancers were great, but she definitely had that undeniable extra something.

I’ve seen Mira Nadon onstage in Rubies and in Movements/Monumentum. She is fabulous. Can’t wait to see her onstage again.

Saw her as lilac fairy in nycb's sleeping beauty the other day. She was the highlight of the show.

From today’s NYT: “Early Sunday evening, just after New York City Ballet’s final performance of the season, four soloists received the kind of postseason gift every dancer dreams of: Emilie Gerrity, Isabella LaFreniere, Roman Mejia and Mira Nadon were elevated to the rank of principal dancer. They learned of their promotions onstage after the curtain fell on “The Sleeping Beauty,” receiving the news from Jonathan Stafford…”
