Thanks for your review (I know it's a year old, but it's still helping people)! Purchased this mount, based on your review. I have had more vent mounts then I can count, and over time, they would fall off from the vent and damage my phone, or simply come loose, while distracting me while I was driving. I also don't like suction mounts, as they've damaged my dash in the past. I mounted this one, and it is NOT coming off! Very tight! As long as it doesn't drop my phone, which I'm confident it won't, I have no worries that it may work it's way loose from the vent! Brilliant design! Looking forward to using it!

Thank you and based on your video I also bought one, but the latest generation. Is has double hooks for the air vent, so probably an even stronger and more secure fitting onto the air vent. Again, thanks for introducing me to Miracase.

i have a mount that is similar and i have it mounted on the middle vent and it is somewhat secure.. i am going to try to mount it in the top mount to see if it is even more secure..

@@kindlentech316 there wasn't enough space in the top vent.. all vents are created differently.. i also had it in the vent that was closest to me and i had to keep that vent open but when i put it in the vent farthest from me (passenger) then i could close the vent..

I think it would, but it wouldn’t be as secure. There’s a little hook that latches onto the back of the vent blade to hold the mount in place. When the vent blades are horizontal the hook faces downward and benefits from gravity. If it’s side-mounted, it’ll still work but maybe not as full proof as the other way. If you get it, let me know how it goes!

I also had it on a Buick with vertical vents and it worked great! And it fit well on the Prius in the video. But I tried it on my GTI and it didn’t fit too well. Otherwise, it’ll work on most cars.

Yes, but not quickly. You just loosen the plastic screw in back, rotate it, then retighten it.

I would say of my experience on my prius air vent mount that is very small vertical shape air vent and it holds my smart phone so great even on a ruff street and I had this mount for over 2 months. I would buy it even it's fifty dollars. I would recommend this mount if you want to use it on air vent.

Yes. My iPhone 7 Plus does have a small case on it. I just bought this mount for a family member, too, and he loves it. He has the Samsung Note 4 and it fit fine.
