Great stuff! Thanks, mate! Just what I needed to know for taking the drum parts to the next level. Really like that sequencer. The sample player is very cool too. Definitely sounds much better using an OSC or load a sample for more varied and controllable drum parts. So when you were retriggering the kick drum sample before it had faded out enough, it was snapping off and producing a click. I am wondering if putting an Amp Env generator somewhere after that sampler would help to adjust the fade out of the sample somehow? Is that even possible, and would it actually work? I don’t know. If it is even possible, I guess the trade off would be that you would also lose some of the length of the sample when it’s triggering fully with enough space between hits. I guess an unorthodox workaround would be to load up that kick sample as two duplicate instances, taking up two slots in the sampler. Then you could trigger one after the other more rapidly from their respective channels in the sequencer. That way they would each have a chance to play out fully and not get snapped back. The end result would be faster beat patterns as they get triggered close to each other, and without the clicks. Again there could be a trade off in that their tails might then overlap and sound muddy as there’s no choke group to assign them to. But this idea might actually work! Sometimes ‘unorthodox’ methods are needed! 🤓💡 You could try that out and let me know if it works! 🤔🧠 Well, this is how the Spider’s mind works anyway! Just some random thoughts and guesses on getting around the clicking issue. Awesome drum tutorial, man! I’m learning so much from these vids! 👊😎

Just found that if you double click (quickly) on the coloured sequencer buttons it will delete that selection so you don't have to cycle through all the colours to delete that selection.

Hello there. I been checking your tutorials for miRack and they have become basic for my learning of this app. I think it is very powerful production tool and also good place for exploring eurorack module without breaking the bank. This 6x32 trigger sequencer is very powerful composition tool. You can really make very complex composition. What I find problematic (tedious) about this sequence is that you have this five modes for every step, what mean lot (really a lot) of clicking until is done some basic two bar composition. Also lacking of manual do not help. This you may be explored this 6x32 trigger sequencer little bit more or do you have some video where you are using it little bit more in depth? Cheers

Sorry, I've not been using miRack lately, and I'm not sure about those modes on the 6x32 sequencer. This video was actually the only time I used that 6x32 sequencer. I gelled more with a different one (the SEQ 3 x 16) that was easier to use imho, and I've included that one in many of the miRack vids, especially the longer live streams if I remember correctly. I wish I had a better answer for you! 🤗😁👊

Hello Dean @ E.S.Audio - I bought an HP i7 Win.10 PC and the Behringer UMC204HD along w my Acid Pro 9 DAW . I am a new-b to pc-recording Sir. How can I best set up my pc so that things aren't running in background etc etc??? I am afraid to do this since I am a beginner Sir. I use FL-Studio 20 and I still get in the red zone and my pc freezes! But it's an i7 processor how can I be freezing up just by adding an effect or a synth running might tribute the red line and freeze me up & bam! Project lost. Can you assist us new-b's in this Sir. LOL - Indeed! Making this series has literally been the *only* thing i've been doing this week. 😏 It takes an entire day to film, edit, render, upload, configure and release a video - even the shorter ones take me an entire full day of work. Hi Dean. I was trying to do the last way of adding drums that you mentioned. Loaded my sample into Quad, patched trigger from Quad to trigger from sequencer, and patched the sequencer to the clock as well. Volumes are not muted, but I still don’t have any sound from the sequencer. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Hey Hey! Can you manually press the trigger button on Quad Simpler and hear your sample? There are 4 individual outputs on that module or you can go stereo out. I like to route each sample individually, but that's up to you. You'll need to make sure you've routed an output to your mixer to hear it. :)

No - a SEQUENCER does not make any sound - it's used (like I explain in the video) to SEQUENCE other modules from the TRIGER OUTPUT.@@SneakySteevy
