Sadly, I found the end of your tutorials - thankyou! I'd love to see you build a glitch effects rack? And/or some extreme routing experiments in the same vein

Hey Hey! Thanks for watching, Nathan! 😁🙏👊 I've gotten into real-world Eurorack this past year and haven't spent much time with MiRack lately. kzbin.info/aero/PLK5Ai5ysFp2uL4-PhWp3deO2aloiJi6Gg I've been doing weekly patch lab livestreams on Sundays, 10am PST - a lot of that general information and patching concepts will carry over to Mirack as well. 👍

Been so hectic lately, I hadn't had much of a chance to get into any of this stuff. Now that I've got a breather, time to get busy. More of these please.

Awwww Yeah! Thanks for watching! 😀 👊 Just as I had hoped, i'm finally starting to get a lot more comfortable routing and patching and figuring things out! So far, it seems like every new module I learn about really adds a *lot* more possibilities to what I already know how to do - I've still only scratched the surface of what is possible here - So Cool!! 👍👍

Oh sweet! I want to put those gated chords through a synced delay! 😋 Great stuff, mate. I hadn’t explored that SEQ 64 yet. With this and the Bernoulli Gate, it’s gonna be a fun weekend! 🤓🎧🎛🎚

OH YEAH!! 😀 👊 I started a *BIG* patch around this idea last night - with delay on the gated chords and it sounds so killer! 🔥🔥

I'm far behind in really learning from your tutorials. Because I watch them purely for entertainment first, then the second time for educational purpose...☺️

That's a great way to learn, though! Thanks for watching, Leon! 😀 👊

Hey Hey! Thanks very much! 😀 👊 I'm going to try and keep a lot them small and simple, where we just focus on learning a few ways to better use mostly one specific module. 👍

Dean, would you consider making a new series focused particular on module by module learning? I’m compelled to make my own to get a module by module basis curriculum
@ElectronisoundsAudio Жыл бұрын
I certainly do not have the time to do a module by module overview - there are HUNDREDS of modules in miRack..... It would take years of making tuts - even if you made one a day..... If you are compelled to make some tuts, please make some, for sure!! 👍👍

And I see a void in the mirack tutorial space, reads the manual usually isn’t enough. I want use cases, patch ideas, and multiple scenarios in which to employ said racks and modules. I know it’s ambitious but I’m down, as well as a moduke by moduke breakdown in Drambo and Audulus. If so many more people knew the peer at their disposal on these modular platforms they’d have a lot less gas, and would realize many of these new apps they already have in modular form. Plus I want a fresh tounfbpersepxrive on the topic. No shade to the creators that have provided ample info, but I want tutorials covering modbap, nu jazz, Freeform generative jazz, modern psychadelia, golden era beats, boom bap like alchemist or Griselda, jazztronica like flyo, hyperpop, more soul, more gritt, more urban flavors and and less edm and ambient stuff. Not knocking those genres but there’s clearly a disparity in the sound design space. Without getting too descriptive, I think we all know who the gatekeepers are, and the marginikzed communities not represented in the sound design space more the genres they represent them. Companies like Render Audio are already on that tip, and Splice just recently hired it’s first black soul sound designer. Not until recently there were no poc synthfluencers reviewing on YT until Noir Et Vie Blanc. The sound desinger and producer space as an identity problem. Lack of poc dicersity, cis women, femme, non-binary. Intersex, 2Sx the list can go on

What does the cv slot on modules do or is used for
@ElectronisoundsAudio5 жыл бұрын
Hey Hey! 😀 👊 You can patch a signal into it (like an LFO for one example), and the little adjuster knob above the patch input dictates how much movement and in what direction the incoming signal effects the knob you are routing the CV to. I hope that makes sense. It's not a simple concept because you can use it in a variety of ways. I use it more in this video I think: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoCpeqOAlpJkj80
