🗣🎤 William Greaves of William Greaves Productions & also Your World Video was my 1st employer. He & his wife, Louise, entrusted me to hold down their fort on many occasions while they travelled abroad, especially India, to capture footage for documentaries they produced. The modest office suite shared a screening room with Black Filmmaker Foundation ( the original BFF) owned by the Hudlin brothers, Reginald & Warrington. I met many prominent Black figures during those years including Mr Paul Robeson, Jr., Heavy Dee & Ossie Davis to name a few. I was hired as receptionist, a title with a HUGE office umbrella. My pay was $150 weekly, after tax net was $138 😂. Thanks for the memories 💕

Small world. I interned for Reggie & Warrington. One of my tasks was to help them move into that 14th Street office.

I thought I had seen all the old black movies, but today, I saw two that I haven't seen before, both were very good. Not good as Cabin n the Sky or Green Pastures or Carmen Jones or Stormy weather. But very good, Hallaluah was another very good one
