So I can make up most of the up front story now, even though a lot of the background aspects are confusing. To me this one sounds like Modred directly speaking to the hero / savior as it became clear that he was tricked by the nine. So this would be Modred pleading the hero to come to his side and stop the nine's return to power. I love how Modred is supposed to be the villain and then it turns out the nine are.

You could actually read it politically. There could be a hidden message in a lot of BG songs, since Hansi also does socio-critical lyrics. So he has a lot of thoughts around social topics.
