I love this conversation, it is so helpful… particularly in that I come from having made science my God because religion seemed so ridiculous, and then I felt disheartened in the same way by the scientific world as many people feel by religion. So I don’t consider it has the capacity to prove anything in itself, because it isn’t outside ourselves (time or space perception) any more than anything else we think we know. So it is so beautiful how it all comes back round to the depth and greatness of God that waits for us all beyond perception, beyond judgment and beyond beliefs. Thank you both 💛

So, the experience of having a Holy instant, the happy dream, the change of perception that the holy Spirit brings, as we study the Course to liberates us from fear to love, is All a form of spiritual bypass according to Britt ? ...would you comment on this please ?

​@@RichardDownsmusicno I don't think that's what Britt is saying.l. Everything you mentioned, holy spirit, happy dream, joy of Gods will...is the effect of NOT Spiritual Bypassing. Everything you mentioned is the gift that is revealed to us in doing the work without bypassing. It's the goal of our inner work. Britt says spiritual bypassing is when we don't feel the feelings or change the thoughts that come up to be felt and changed. Many people simply slap a concept on top of what they think or feel instead of doing the deep work. The deep work is what will bring us the happy dream and unspeakable joy. These words however, I do not think Britt would use....but she would agree if she heard us speaking like this ❤️

Wow! She really is a spiritual atheist. Fascinating. I think she will be pleasantly surprised when she leaves this earth but, I don't know that. I learnt that I am a spiritual bypasser and I'm going to try on her viewpoint, As challenging as that will be, it is very refreshing and clearly working for her. ACIM teaches that in the end, we need to give up all concepts/teachings, even the course itself. (Don't you change anything though Britney Shawley)

Hey Doug! Good to hear from you brother. Its true, you can tell Britt has done alot of inner work. And working on NOT spiritually bypassing is important for all of us. Including me :) I have to be vigilant for that too my friend. I am constantly analyzing WHY I am doing things and constantly being aware of HOW I am feeling so I can ensure my thoughts are in the right place and my why is with Him and not for me. I changes everything about how I think and see and operate in this world in 2010! SO I don't think I can ever return to what I was before that change. BUT I am constantly vigilant, constantly practicing what I preach and constantly siding with Love instead of my own ego to the best of my ability. ACIM truly deeply works for all that, for me. So I have to practice like everyone else :)))) and am just sharing what works. But exactly... in the end we must give up all concepts and meaning. Then in that space, He will reveal all that IS. love you. Peace be with you. Have a great weekend

Where can I find the audobook version? I love the book, finished it then decided to re-read (which I've never done, except for the BoM, but that was because I felt I should...until I realized it was all made up) Love your stuff. Wow, that is such a beautiful and amazing talk, a joining of souls. I have just listened to this talk twice. Listening to Britt's voice is so beautiful and soothing. Like every words is coming directly from the heart. My heart is saying that Britt is Jesus. Jesus in the sense of having the inner knowledge of the presence of God while at the same time holding the space of Socrates, the I do not know who I am. I do not follow false ideas but alone those that present themselves as being unquestionably true. A truth that becomes manifest as the knowledge of the outer world meets the unquestionable presence of the inner self.

The human experience is a temporary experience however we are consciousness itself which is eternal in nature. This is not my opinion it’s simply the reality. My wife and I are Modern Shamans and can and do communicate with non physical beings regularly as well as travel out of body and remember past lives.

I want to not exist after earth. To become nothing. Once is already too much for me. I do cherish the life I have even with the constant ups and downs but no next life for me please. Do you both expect existence after earth? If a god of creation really exists I strongly recommend that he just go back to keeping dinosaurs 😅 I think the eating is the flaw in our design, the killing other life forms is karma. Drinking is alright but fauna should have been solar n water like flora 🌻
