The whole point of of her getting chased is becomes of the immense powers she wields and they give you a couple times the chance to try them out to show it's not just words. However if you make it too long, it will either get boring fast since you are a monster or they make it harder which lessens the whole idea of her being well...the most powerful being in the witcher universe.

Kazmistrz1993 I agree that the most fun I had in The Witcher 3 I had while fighting as Ciri. It wasn't as complex as Geralt's fighting, so it was the right call to limit the time of the sections, but the faster, lighter combat really appealed to me. Dodge roll is great, a staple of any character action game, but blink will always be more fun.

The games aren't bad, but there is the mild issue of their storyline blatantly contradicting the established stories. That being said, I wouldn't say that she cared about personal happiness more than her destiny - at the end, she almost seemed to accept it before asking for time. and considering that she can jump through time, it's potentially possible that she does eventually find the maturity and selflessness to come back and face fate.
