I've been thinking of how to word the way this song makes me feel for a few years now. I've stood on the edge and tried to jump off of it before, and there's something about this song and Disco Elysium that speaks to the wounded part of me. It helped to pull me back. According to Spotify this is my most listened to song since 2020. That worries my family a lot when I tell them that, but I just think they don't understand what it's like to feel lost in the world the way I did. It gives me a feeling like I'm not alone in my struggle. In particular the lines "The burden of tomorrow, all the shame regret and sorrow" speak to a part of me that I wish didn't exist, and it says "You're not the first one to feel this way, others have pulled through and so will you" and I know that's a weird thing to say about a song that I've nicknamed "depression disco" but it really helped me get through tough times in these last few years. Now I'm putting my life back together and finally feel like I have a future again. My girlfriend and I are getting married next year and are planning to have a child together. And I don't think I'd be here to say that without art like this song that helped me feel understood. Thanks for making this, I love it dearly.

I love the way it sounds. The text is depressing, but the music is hopeful. Just as I felt after finishing the game.

Couldn´t say anything more eloquent or funnier that wasn´t already said. Just wanted to say: Thank you, Gav, really this is amazing. Really struck a cord with me. Enduring, melancholic...love it. (sorry for the broken english, chilean fan here).

When I first heard this song, I didn't care for it at all. The more I heard of it, the more I felt like I was missing something. Then that chorus just clicked. I felt it. And I'm in love. I come back to this everytime I just need to cry for what could have been.

Life has been feeling like drifting through a half-awake lucid dream because of recent events, and this song really captures how that feels. Excellent work as always, Gav.

Gav, I've said time and time again and I'm saying it one more time with proud and plesure - you're a ultimate wizzard, if not a god. Every song of yours makes it right into the soul hits the spot, every one of the, but with it's own unique beauty and power. And this one yet another pride example of your art. A balm of life and sad, but gentle and funky comfort on one's heart.

I've been listening to the song on loop for two days now. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. And more importantly... I originally disliked the game's ending. I felt everything post Tribunal was quite weak, especially the final conversation when returning from the Island. But the more I listen to the song, the more I reevaluate the ending of the game, and the more my opinion of the ending improves. Incredible song with incredibly powerful lyrics.

Without doubt, this is the most amazing, non-cover, cover and loving tribute to a Games purpose I have ever ever ever ever ever seen and listened to in my life. You deserve several cookies and half a cake.

I remember there was a time I stopped listening to Miracle of Sound, I just didn't like the songs as much, but this one and the FF VII ones remind me of when I first started listening in! I think I've listened to this one on repeat like thirty times and I love it. Keep up the awesome work Gavin, you're truly an amazing artist!

Maan this is just a work of art. Not only captures the game's spirit but also somehow completes it. It makes me melancholy and reflective every time. Thank you for your work 💛
