This song was a challenge! Mixing taiko drums, 3 kotos, 2 shamisens, wood percussion, 4 flutes, metal clanking, gongs, orchestral strings, electric guitars, bass, a drumkit and 16 vocal layers into something that makes sense sonically was almost as hard as the game lol. Planning on letting a bard in the D&D party I'm DMing learn this song and be able to take 2 levels of exhaustion to cast revivify. Story behind this is that the song was written in honor of the first revenant, a samurai from Lao who refused to die until his charge was properly coronated as the new emperor.

That is honestly awesome. Although to be fair, Sekiro can be great inspiration for lots of D&D stuff. I'm planning on playing a monk in D&D, part of the royal guard of a now lost noble line who lost his arm while fleeing his lord's estate, was given a half-magical prosthetic by a gnome inventor and is now questing to repay his debt, as well as to find the last living member of his late lord's family.

@@miracleofsound That may well be the case, just a matter of style. I think your songs for almost a year haven't had that kind of sound that I really crave. Dream Again was the last song of yours I listened non-stop, while Embers Rise and Ode to Fury I liked them, but just not that much to listen to more than a couple of times. Befote that, Giants Fall and Machine Hearts had me totally addicted to your music, and my days were spent almost at all times with a playlist of your songs in the background. Then Show your Style I kinda liked too, I've also spent some time listening to that one, but not nearly as much as the others. Until this, Rebirth. I've spent a couple of hours listening to it now, and as you said, now I can kind of put what makes it special, and it was just... The style. I really liked the rock/oriental mix, sort of exotic sounding but epic at the same time, I'm not sure if I'm explaining this correctly but it's what it feels like to me. Its a song that makes me want to play the game even more, and makes me like it just by itself, independently of the video footage or the "biased factor" for the theme/lyrics referencing games I've actually played before. Wow, I wouldn't mind at all if your music would appear in one or more video games one day! The ambiance is epically captured and combined with beautiful gameplay to deliver an awesome clip!
