Lord Shimura's line after that "You are ruled by your emotion" makes me think that maybe the Ghost of Yarikawa mission isn't where Jin became the Ghost. That's just where the legend of the Ghost starts. But I think Jin fully embraced the Ghost persona when *major spoiler* Taka died. When Jin yelled out in anger, pain, and sadness. That is when he truly gave up on Samurai honor, stopped caring about suppressing his emotions, and became the Ghost.

Hey folks, hope 2021 is treating ye ok. This was the one song from last year that I wasn't completely happy with the production. So for the Level 11 album version we made a few tweaks to bring out (to my ears) its full potential. Here is the list of changes: Rebalancing of bass guitar/ kick drum low end frequencies to create a more dynamic groove. Guitar EQ adjusted for a warmer, fatter sound. Some vocal volume levels adjusted slightly. Adjusted kick drum click to feel more natural and be slightly louder. Snare drum adjusted & EQ-d to have fewer distracting harmonic overtones and fit into the groove better. Some overall mix & master EQ & compression adjustments to create a more full, balanced sounding production.

Brilliant, gallant and vibrating song, but I have gotta say this: to a true samurai honour is never over even when his sword is broken. Honour may die perhaps, but never fading regardless, it is still lingering like a ghost, around the warrior waiting for the opportunity to reborn anew when his spirit arises again. I've just finished the game. I learned about it from this song, and I loved it ever since. I was waiting for the PC release so long it felt like torture. When I walked the path together with Jin, saw his anger, wish for vengeance, his grieve and sorrow... I felt like never before. It was a wonderful experience. And I got it thanks to this song. I was wondering when and where should I play it. When defeating Khan? When killing the Eagle? No, it all felt incomplete. When the two of them sat in the leafes, Jin writing his last words and Lord Shimura praying without a sound, I felt like it was the time. I played this song. Perfectly parrying and dodging each move, never to return the attack. I was waiting. Slashing, eventually. And the final counterattack started when the last "My soul still cries..." played. We exchanged blows, I started losing, but stood my ground, not healing. When the last note hit, I landed the last strike. It was an honor without honor, a duel without purpose and yet a fight for something more. I cried. Really. That moment and your song made me feel so much in those few minutes. Thank you. May you be remembered all across Tsushima and more. And may your horse never tire, may the kami watch over you carefully. May you blade never lose it's sharpness. And may you forever be remembered as the one who brought the story of the Ghost to us. And to me. Thank you.
