during my return from dusseldorf to prague train was unduly delayed for some reason. finally when it arrived it was a combined one. it was cold and night i desparately kept only thinking krishna. from no where a turkish-white looking guy came in and helped me through putting me to right coach though traon staff was not helpful. i dont know how that man understood my situation. i still think it is HIM.!!

In general, these videos by Epified on Hinduism are fantastic, loving them! Here, I really find the similarities between Hera-Kles and Hare Krishna to be intriguing. I didn't know about the story with baby Krishna suckling the demon woman and draining her powers, but it is quite similar to baby Herakles suckling the goddess Hera with similar results. Both Krishna and Herakles foremost superpower was super strength. Both were born to mortal women, both had a significant/twin brother (Balarama :: Iphicles), and both were notoriously very sexually active incarnations. Herakles tames the Nemean lion, Vishnu (effectively Krishna) defeats Narasimha. Both defeated other monsters, like the Hydra which both took out in heroic fashion. Krishna is usually depicted as dying like Achilles (both had the heel weakness), not Herakles, but hey that's not too far off, the Greeks may have just mixed up their stories, just ask Herodotus.

Nikhil Pandey do try Devdutt Pattanaik's Jaya which is a version of Mahabharat. It made complete sense to an agnostic like me and changed the way I perceive Hindu beliefs and traditions

I think there is a mistake, Vasuki gave birth to Krishna while she was in prison. Her husban VASUDEVA who was also with DEVAKI in the prison carried the new-born across flooded YAMUNA river and replaced the baby-boy KRISHNA with 's baby -girl of NANDA and YASHODA . NANDA was VASUDEVA's friend and ruled GOKUL kingdom. The girl was brought back to prison, she was an incarnation of goddess DURGA. Kansa tried killer her too.... So, basically i dont thimk the concept of WOMB-TRANSFER is authentic.

Krishna was born in the Yadava clan of Mathura to Queen Devaki and her husband, King Vasudeva. Foster father of sree krishna - King Nand according to the Harivamsha and the Puranas, was the head of the Gopas tribe of Yadava cowherds referred as Holy Gwals. Nanda was a Kshatriya chief ( They were No Gypsies ). Kindly try to change the word in the video.
