Dr Now is great, tells it how it is. He’s not a young man but still helping to change lives for the better❤

At the start of 2024, I weighed in at 326.6 lbs. I knew that was not a healthy or sustainable way to live, since then, I am down to 209 lbs, a loss of 117.6 lbs. I am still obese, and under no illusions that I am healthy but I have a goal of 175 lbs and will keep on keeping on until I get there. It’s possible, but one of the hardest things you will ever do! But it is possible if you work at it!

I’m really confused, Doug is trying to get his life back but I’m seeing the little boy getting a little to heavy and the wife gaining since the last episode, you all need to be together on this for it to WORK, otherwise Doug will go back to food😢❤

If carbs make you gain weight, how do Oriental people eat a bunch of noodles and rice and stay slim?
@milesmorales6148Ай бұрын
Moderation is key. Staying active and watching your calories!

Yes, so true. Read about the Starch Solution Diet.

Asians have different genetics. I have seen Asians eat three bowls of rice a day and they do not exercise and they are skinny. Caucasians (whites) and others have an adverse response to carbs.
@mgpinkanglerАй бұрын
Just watch what you eat. And exercise a lot, there is no miracle cure. 😅

And alcohols should just have a few and then stop, and anorexics should just eat a burger.

I've always had it backwards, watching people exercise and eating a lot. Thanks for the info, now I'll be in good shape forever
@DipsyMum29Ай бұрын
@@mgpinkangler it’s about addiction. Anorexia, substance abuse and super morbid obesity is the same mental illness, it just presents itself differently in different people. Due to it being the same mental illness if they become physically unable to use food then they often become addicted to something else after surgery. This is called addiction transference. It is also the reason why the program attempts sends them to therapy.

That's what vegetarians (and expecially vegans) tell you so that they can cope better with their life choices. Most of the problems coming from "eating meat" can be resolved by simply eating quality red meat only once a week and going for a dish of either fish or chicken any other day.
