That's why people get carried away sometimes when they want to share something that they enjoy and what brings them happiness with others; they want the other people to be happy like them, unfortunately sometimes the other person doesn't not find the same thing or activities enjoyable. This is applicable to anything, if it has to be forced onto someone it is a bad thing to do.

As someone who doesn't drink, I get shamed and looked down upon all the time for being sober 24/7. Co-workers think I'm weird. Friends and family are constantly trying to peer pressure me into trying "one drink". In some cases, the same goes for drugs. I had one coworker/friend who straight up said that he couldn't trust anyone with "no vices" like me. So, because I don't rely on unhealthy habits to make myself happy, I'm an untrustworthy person? Whatever dude... This society is wack. You get told all throughout childhood, "Don't drink, don't do drugs" and then turn into a pariah when you follow that advice.

His brash honesty was a breath of fresh air in a work environment full of people who talk sh!t about you behind your back. He was one of the few I could genuinely stand to be around, because I knew exactly what he thought of me. What he said annoyed me, but it wasn't enough to break our coworker friendship. It actually pissed me off more when our other coworkers would talk sh!t about his blunt honesty, even though they were just as insulting to people - just not to the people they were talking about.

It's interesting to me too because as a kid we were taught that people would try to get us to drink because "that's what cool people do" but as an adult, all the attempts to pressure me into drinking have been from people who feel self conscious around me for not drinking because it makes them feel like they're inferior.

Just lost alot of respect for josh... I've made alot of mistakes in my life. I grew up WAY to fast and did alot of things at 10, that no one should be should even be doing in adulthood. Was not, a good person, but ive come a long way, and i dont smoke, drink, swear, and I'd give the shirt off my back and every dollar in my wallet to a person in need. As a fan of Miranda Cosgrove growing up watching iCarly, i am happy she is doing ok unlike many of her fellow child stars of her generation. It's crazy how society and Hollywood wants to push bad habits in child starts like drugs and alcohol and Miranda stayed away from the dark side of the entertainment industry mostly due to her coming from a nice family so she didn't have to chase money and fame like other less fortunate child stars did.

Miranda may have experienced a little of that but she had a good family that supported her and advocated for her.
