I heard this song for the first time today and it makes me fall even more in love with Miranda Lambert. She is so AMAZING. And that right there is why she is female vocalist of the year 8 times. Carrie Underwood has a great voice and a higher range but she can't do this with her voice. Miranda Lambert is queen of country music.

role model maybe, she knew Blake was a cheater because he was married when they got together. He divorced and stayed with her until he didn't. Her voice is beautiful and she is absolutely gorgeous. I love her work and talent. Her stage personality seems authentic. She needs more recognition, Pistol Annies do as well. Not putting her down at all but she knew that he was a cheater.

I've always been a Miranda fan, she is incredibly talented. But this song in particular holds a special place in my heart; in this song she so reminds me of someone from my 'younger days' who was very special to me and is no longer here, even though she died 30 yrs ago, a day rarely goes by that I don't think of her. Only the good die young. Rest in peace my dear friend, I'll see you on the other side some day......

Seeing Miranda in this video is like looking at a beautiful ghost from my past. I knew a girl many many years ago who would have looked like her twin sister, she was my first love. And this video and song break my heart when I think of what might have been. Looking into Mirandas' beautiful blue eyes is like looking into her eyes, and it hurts so bad knowing that I can never see her again.......

I am not a country song fan by any means, but a good friend of mine told me to listen to some of her music. In particular, to pay close attention to the lyrics. I decided to listen, and wow, I am really surprised that I like this song. I also listened to another song (not by Miranda Lambert) entitled, "From the Ground Up" which is also very beautiful. I suspect that many people will use "From the Ground Up" as a wedding song for the bride and groom's first dance or for a couple celebrating a major mile-stone anniversary.

I like this song very much. I just recently found a version of this song done by Dominique Hutchinson on KZbin. I must say we were quite surprised when we heard it. This is a really powerful song with deep meaning. Miranda is quite the songwriter. Sweet like a kiss sharp like a razor blade I find you when I’ m close to the bottom You cant appreciate the time it takes To kick a love I always knew was kind of wrong And as I’m putting out the flame Somebody brings up your name Oh oh oh oh Baby baby baby bring me down I want to be right where you are Baby baby baby bring me down You can look me in the eye and break my heart Break my heart Six AM unruffled pillow Laughs out loud at my trusting heart It’s like I didn’t see the penny I missed the fountain by a couple yards If you would only stay gone Maybe I could move on Oh oh oh oh Baby baby baby bring me down I want to be right where you are Baby baby baby bring me down You can look me in the eye and break my heart Break my heart OH! Baby baby baby bring me down I want to be right where you are Baby baby baby bring me down You can look me in the eye and break my heart Break my heart OH! Baby baby baby bring me down I want to be right where you are Baby baby baby bring me down You can look me in the eye and break my heart Break my heart Bring me down… Lyrics written by Miranda Lambert & Travis Howard
