Loneliness drives us to do things we usually wouldn't. Anything to have arms around us, and a safe place to land, no matter how brief it may be... just to feel "alive" again. Even though it might leave us with no life left. Anything to feel loved once again and remove the sting of loneliness and rejection. Dear God save us in spite of ourselves. Gracias, Amen.

I see a wonderful, powerful video here. I have been going through a divorce with a highly abusive man. After the split, I was a lot like the woman in this video. I had the same vice. I wanted to run to other towns where nobody knew me. Everywhere I went it was the same. Wake up, grab my shoes, and get going...proud of it? No. Learn from it? Yes. I was abused. I took out my frustrations in ways that other survivors have for years. Many tests later and several counseling sessions got me back on track. I've finally learned who I am and "how I got here."

I tell you what...this man is highly influential in the county. He took me all the way to trial. My 5 year old baby is having to go to him every other week, because the system failed her. It came out in trial that the investigations were incomplete and/or mishandled. There was evidence of physical abuse on my baby after I got her back from his house. Guess what was done? Nothing. The judge couldn't rule on custody due to the amount of evidence he was presented with. But, they still let her go. I'm not stopping until she is taken care of by someone that will not hurt her. I don't drink, smoke, nothing...I have to take medication for depression and PTSD, but that's normal. I was on FMLA leave for so much stress. MY BP was 150/110 and pulse 140. I was having gallbladder pains and breaking out in rashes. Trial was horrific, but my story would not have been told without it. I told the good, the bad, and the ugly. He, of course, told lies! He got caught in many. So, yes...abuse is Satan and the Devil has too many advocates out there.

This song touch deeply in the soul. Sometimes when we feel lost in life many things doesn´t make any sense but we still do the same mistakes again and again. This song is very intense and cruel but absolute beautuful at the same time. And Miranda Lambert got a powerfull and louder dimension to this masterpiece. I love this singer and her interpretation of all music she sings. You are one ofthe bests Miranda, great job. Kisses and God´s always bless you and your music.

I'm not nearly as big of a country fan as I used to be. Just recently I have developed a strong appreciation for Miranda's music. Some of the lyrics are phenomenal!! Vice is such a song. Great stuff! Mid Feb 2020. As long as we wake up in the morning.. there's hope.

My name is Miranda I’m 25 years old in Louisiana and when I say my name to boomers, it’s other “lambert” or “the Miranda right” and when I compared to Miranda I feel so delighted. Always respond with either “not as rich” or “not her voice, tho” but I’ve related to her since her first album. This song relates me to her 200% even more. Being human means not being perfect and learning from our conscience vices.

This song resonates I have been running my whole life from all my problems & I can just relate, the numbing of the pain is temporary usually liquor & people, until I find myself off to do it all over again after I swear I wouldn’t but deep down knowing I’ll be gone to do it again, the lyrics hit. Just another vice…there’s always that one pain that gets you, hard to cover up.
