LOVE the Stoner's trim shine! Use it on my wheel liners, mud flaps, front valance, running boards and floor liners. Running boards and liners get wiped down after a couple minutes dwell time, just to knock off the slippery. Works well. Great job as always Phil and Jess! Informative and enjoyable to watch. Thanks!

Another excellent video and breakdown of products. And Little hand! Yes! LMAO! Love it. I really enjoy the Two the max wax. It's been on my personal truck for about 2 months now and im loving the maintenance washes. I've been using spray 9 on tires lately, it really pulls out the browning. As always thanks for the tips and tricks!

Phil, I really appreciate your practical approach! I tried your method last weekend with superclean 1:4 with water and followed it with a foam gun and shampoo in a bucket and it worked great! We had done a road trip to Montana and there were bugs everywhere. I did have to use a dedicated bug product (3d) to dissolve the stubborn bug guts in a few places and it worked well. One thing I have been using to finish during drying is the ethos d3fy as a drying aid and it just gives it that little extra finish. Thanks again for the knowledge!

Hi phill, was wondering if you could guide me how to figure out how to price for detailing? Also and not to have to much choices for customer just simple and easy for them to understand. Also how to learn to be more efficient on your details. I live in wi if that helps. Thank u . Much love
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing Ай бұрын
Hi. That’s a lot to go over and can’t really be explained in a few sentences. Basically keep your services simple. Check out website and feel free to use it as a guide for your services. As far as efficiency, that just comes with time. Don’t just copy of follow what you see everyone doing. Only do what you customer is laying you to do and what the vehicle needs. Try not to go over board and do things unnecessarily. People on social media make up a lot of rules that are arbitrary, meaning they say you have to use iron remover EVERYTIME or do a paint correction before coatings EVERYTIME. Thats ridiculous. never do a paint correction before a coating UNLESS you have discussed it with the customer and that’s what they really want to pay for. Once you start realizing that, running a detailing business is very different then what you see guys doing on social media. I hope that helps.

The transformation on the Mazda was sweet as the paint was moldy and dirty and ended up looking glossy and new. Rinseless washes are great for maintenance washes but this car was covered in dirt and mold. I was surprised by how thick the foam was on the car from a wash and wax product. The code works great at car supplies but I do not get free shipping on orders over $100 when I use the code. I stick with the code because your videos are so informative and I want to give back. Thank you for the video.

What do you do for wheel wells? on cars you can't see much, but on SUV's or trucks they are more exposed. I'm looking for a better brush to use.
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I like to use a brush like this and dedicate it to tires and wheels only. Then you can use a good tire dressing to apply on the plastic wheel wells.

Another great video. As DIY guy that love to wash cars. Def great. I see u have mini split as ac and heat unit for garage. How do perform in winter if u using as them for heat. I had oil heat in my house here in NY. Oil prices more than doubled and I switched to mini split made for cold climate. This coming winter will be mine first winter for mini splits.
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks!! Yes it’s a mini split! It’s been awesome both for heat and ac for the past two years. The ac takes a while for it cool down becasue the heat and humid is so intense. But for heat it way better and more efficient.

@Legendsneverdie877
@Legendsneverdie877 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the video. I admittedly have very little experience with drying aids - the only one I think I have ever used is a now discontinued product from Dodo Juice called Time to Dry. I guess I just felt like there was more streaking, and the possibility of product buildup in my drying towels making them less absorbent. Have you noticed that issue with Evaporate? Plus 9 times out of 10 I’m doing something to the paint after a wash anyway, be it a quick detailer, spray wax, or spray on rinse off type product (like McKee’s 37 Hydro Blue Pro or Hydro Graphene), so I like to avoid “product stacking.” Your thoughts on this? Also, I agree with you 100% on the whole rinseless wash thing. I know there are some detailers who absolutely swear by it, like Yvan Lacroix and Garry Dean, but I don’t think you can absolutely substitute for a traditional wash. It is nice to have as an option when needed though.
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks. Some drying aids would kinda clog the drying towels sometimes, but using the Rags to Riches cleaner has made a big difference now, the towels come out cleaner and not clogged. I'm also not concerned about stacking products because as long as my customer's vehicles are beading and sheeting and staying clean longer, that's all that matters to me and them. 😎👍
