I don't know if Miranda's East Texas family was like mine and many others I knew growing up, but I just thought people making music on the front porch, out in the fields or wherever was just how East Texas folks did things. My Grandpa was one hell of a fiddler and guitar player, my aunts could play the piano as good as Floyd Cramer ever could and most could sing really well. Of course they all had that familiar twang in their voice like Miranda does. My family gave me some of the best memories one could have and this video of Miranda's reminds me a lot of those days. All my family has been gone for many years now and this really makes me miss them and the happier times I spent with them.
