I had some pretty nice cars entire race except for the dozer. I believe the gap to 1st at the end was about the same as it was when I finished my dozer lap. COuld have won that one if not for that damn machine.

Weren't there usually showcases included in these videos? I had I checked up in earlier videos to there just not really being a showcase, but that clip with the taco van now has me guessing

not always, normally showcases are added if the race after involves a new car, this race was during his streamweek and i dont remember there being a showcase

Would it be possible to do a random all series where it’s normal random all, but after each race the cars you had during that race are removed from your pool for the next race? So if you have a have a race with very average cars , the next one you’re more likely to have good race the next one because those average cars are out of your pool

A 'sabot' is a packing to launch a projectile... so a nice name for a car that's an older version of the Bullet :P

@@chompette_ a sabot is a type of shaped or staged cartridge to keep the round, bullet, or load stable and help it stay straight and true at longer distances. The Sabot is a much newer technological advancement than the "round" so I'm sticking with the cool name part

In the end a race full of bog standard cars is probably better than one with the fastest cars and a Dozer. To be fair 10 laps with the Hyperion would probably not compensate 1 with a Dozer. Maybe it could be fun to try it just for science, they all do their standard Random All while you do 1 lap with the Dozer and then only get the fastest cars.

Just because I was "mired in the mid-pack" at some point during the race, doesn't mean to say that's where I finish. I can't just put up a video with no title at all. It has to be descriptive to some degree. But even so I've never outright spoiled anything with a title or thumbnail (or even clip) and sometimes I'll even try to subvert expectations (as is somewhat the case here, which I presume you'd have know had you watched first). I can't really do much more.

imagine two lagging cars end up on the opposite sides that they should be, and then the game tries to sync up them both. it freaks out and fires them off into the distance as car A is pushed by car B which pushes car A more which pushes car B more... and so on

Exactly what chompette said. Due to lag the cars on the screen of each player are on opposite sides from each other. When the server tries to fix it tge server just pulls the cars towards each other with increasing force until something breaks.
