This poem is my whole high school life. I've taken AP classes through all of high school and I'm almost finished with my senior year. It really is like wading into the ocean. The water is open and unknown, but it is also cool on your feet after wading through the hot sand on the beach. I've stressed and worked my ass off and now I'm on my way to college with tons of scholarships. I'm glad all my work didn't fall into those measly 26 seconds.

What you're saying is inspirational, but every few seconds someone also commits suicide. That's not measly.

Every time she says “it’s been 26 seconds” about 26 seconds has gone by since the last time she said it.

A "why can't we just pass and get everything handed to us" rant. That may not be the intent, but that is what it sounds like.

Her quarrel is obviously with the system, not hard work. Look deeper, man

Aaron Bell, I will say that as long as we have people like Hillary Clinton allowed to run for POTUS, the system is rigged. If she is talking about the rigged system, then she is right.

David Welsh Go back to Trumpville 😂 I hate both candidates but where did that comment even come from? The SCHOOL system, not the political system
@Panwere368 жыл бұрын
Aaron Bell, actually, if we didn't have the rigged school system we have, we wouldn't have the rigged political system, where two people who should be in jail not running for POTUS are. I could have just said Trump, and it would still be the same. It starts in the schools, where only the appearance of achievement are rewarded, not actual education and enrichment. We are still talking about the same system.
@aaronbell40048 жыл бұрын
David Welsh I would argue the exact opposite, that the messed up school system is caused by the rigged, unfair political system
