Wow! Miriam. I know how time consuming these coils are. The combination of colors is so beautiful. Congratulations for your patience and careful work. Greetings from Querétaro, Mexico.

Thank you so much, Isabel! 💚 Yes, indeed time-consuming. The coils are not hard to make but it takes some time and patience to get it all done ;). I like to think of the end result while I work, it helps me go on and finish 😉.

Beautiful! Can customize the colors for Halloween Candy, Christmas candy etc too. That embroidery is very pretty too.
@MiriamsQuilling3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Ruth! You sure can choose whatever colors you want ;) and for whatever candy, I'm sure it would look great with a multitude of candies of different sorts. Happy that you liked it. I do like embroidery but cannot find enough time and energy for every art and craft I'd like to try out more.

Fantastic video and design Miriam :) I can't imagine how many strips of paper this project required! It looks fantastic and I love how you use this bowl for a lolly jar at the end. This tutorial was beautifully filmed and edited too. Thank you for sharing your work! :)

Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it! 😊 I lost count of how many paper strips I used, or of how many coils I made, truth be told 😁🙈

Just regular old school glue? For the quilling circles and also to apply them to the bowl?
@MiriamsQuilling3 жыл бұрын
Yes, mine is from the brand called BIC (I have a video about the glue I use). It's in my playlist called "Quilling Supplies"

What if I don't have an extra Glas bowl. Could I cover a bowl with plastic( like the one for food and glow the coils on it and then take it off? 🤔
@MiriamsQuilling3 жыл бұрын
I really don't know, I haven't tried doing it any other way, but why not try? Maybe it works 😉. It's all about experimenting 😊.

All of your projects are great. What type of varnish did you use on the bowl?
@MiriamsQuilling3 жыл бұрын
The varnish I used doesn't really have a brand name. It's just called: adhesive varnish (it's both an adhesive and a varnish).

A few years ago I made a clock using quilling coils (diameter 40 cm) . It took soooo much time! When I finally finished and used varnish spray on it, it left "smoky" white surface on some areas... The clock and me were devastated 😔😁 I
