I love my ebike. Had one for 5 years and have just upgraded to a new one this month. My adult daughter has my old one and we have enjoyed going out for a ride she commented that it was like being a child again! I have arthritis which stops me walking far but I can get out on my bike with very little pain. I think your bikes are excellent value for money. Take care Gill

They're not British in the slightest. It's basically a glorified drop shipping company who order from China then add enough components so they can claim "built" in the U.K. You can buy one on alibaba for 350 plus around 200 shipping.

Love these bit pricey but look amazing quality and really fun to use i sold my bike after my hip replacement as it was a normal one and i didnt like swinging my leg high to get on it but these i love how it looks like you just have to step over the low bar and get on seat definitely be looking at one of these when want a bike again for sure thanks for the amazing review.

We actually went to the factory in Wigan just about 2 weeks after the moved to the new site, we had a good tour of the place and it was nice. Cant wait to go again then we can get the upgrades lol

Just ordered one for my wife as she has a new job nearer to home and this would be ideal, when we go away for the weekend it will easily fit into the car and if one of us needs to pop to the shop or get the fish and chips or even better beers lol. She did have a standard size e bike but never really used it too much and the battery is dead now and they want £500 for a new one hopefully this will last a lot longer.

I see you have the off-road tyres nice. We also got ours but it has the 5ah version lol. We would upgrade later if we think we need to travel longer lol. We actually was going to get E-scooter and I built our seat to that, but after doing some research we increased our seat to 60cm high so the bikes can fit under. I really like their new display that shows you the battery in %, i cant wait to upgrade to that. Very nice video guys.

However, I keep asking myself why I just wouldn’t get a standard ebike, transporting it on a bike rack attached to our VW campervan. What made you decide that a folding bike was for you?

Hi John and Mandy. I love your channel and your individual channels. I ended up buying a mirider one based on your review of the bikes and based on your experience with the bikes. I took the bike for its maiden voyage today and I love it. Thanks very much for sharing your experience with the bike. I wouldn’t have know about mirider ones otherwise. So thanks a million :) can I ask please if you use the 12v charger for recharging them. I’m tempted to buy one for charging in the moho but I don’t know how good they are. This bike is made under various guises.... S bot to recent life force in Argos and Very site.. I'm intrigued in the latter as they have 20 inch wheels. Obviously which ever company you use it's a check the specs homework and what price point you willing to pay. I have the original mirider for 800 4 years ago.. still going strong but would love that new gb3 one but out my price range currently.

I have been enjoying your videos as you progress around Europe. Have you used your Miriders since Amsterdam? I have not noticed them at all and I wondered if there was an issue. WE are very keen to get two of these bikes and are planning a trip down south (nearest retailer is in Glasgow 200 miles away!).

The 5 power modes are like changing physical gears when going up a hill, so you’d normally use a lowered number gear to help you up an include, on the MiRiDER you increase the power to give you greater assistance up hills.

We didn’t get any oil on our clothes at all, the crank has a chain guard and that’s the only part that comes close to your clothes.

didn't realise they were UK based and thought it was a chinese or similar import - pretty please to be told wrong. Sold my tern GSD last year when there was no end of lockdown in sight so am pretty interested in a cheaper alternative ebike for sure. the new Pixel monochrome version looks the biz!

@@TheManpuncher assembly being putting the handle bars and mudguards on. You can buy them in the U.K for 600 with a slightly smaller battery. I've no problem with drop shipping and people making 10/20% on top because others don't want to wait for shipping or can't be bothered to look but 900 mark up for a 2.3 ah bigger battery (pre installed) and some mudguards. Wow.. that's just greedy.

We originally passed the MiRider during our research due to single gear and small wheel size, however seeing you two bomb around on rougher tracks etc, we decided to take another look :) One question - do you use an inverter or did you ever look at any 12v chargers? @@johnmandy we have watched the video several times and very much enjoyed it (your video was the reason we decided to buy after initially ruling the MiRider out). We can see from the video how easy it is to charge and I was just asking if you had looked at means of charging via 12v, rather than the included AC shown in video, as this is something we are looking into for when our bikes arrive - currently we only use 12v in van...but will get an inverter for these if needbe :)

Just what I wanted BUT…how would it manage pulling a trailer for the dog? Plus how would it manage on rough terrain that has barely a path?

I can’t think why there would be an issue, especially with the trailers that attach to the seat post. It has loads of torque so would handle the extra weight beautifully. We’ve ridden over grass and very rough paths with no problem at all 😁

I love the look of these, but hubby (who is a serious cyclist) insists the small wheels would be uncomfortable for me on our country roads/tracks. I don’t ride big distances (I have Fibromyalgia and Arthritis), and just want an easy bike that I can put in my car or take on a bus/train. Any thoughts on this? Ps how heavy are they?

I think this video shows the small wheels do not make it any more comfortable to ride. Half of this video shows us riding off-road, I’d say they’re as comfortable as any other bike I’ve ridden 👍🏻

The throttle is for assistance, you still need to peddle which means it’s perfectly legal
