The first Silesian war was an open rebellion, an insurrection, of the Prussian king who was a vassal to the Emperor and to the Empress in Austria. Starting the war, the king broke his oath as a vassal and destroyed what was left of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nation. The kings of Prussia had been allowed to adopt the title of kings by gratification of the Emperor in Vienna in 1701 as a reward for their military assistance in one of the wars against the Turks. From the Polish perspective, Fryderyk's government balance sheet does not look very well. Fryderyk's goal was to acquire new territories for Prussia, which requires deterioration of the internal situation of the Commonwealth and action to its detriment. Fryderyk's momentous results were monetary counterfeits used in calculations harmful to the Commonwealth. Frederick II came into possession of the original Polish mint stamps in Saxony, which included him to flood the Commonwealth with a worthless coin. Ephraims, beaten by Veitel Heine Ephraim, which covers part of the scope of the Prussian war budget

Frederic turned his little militarist semi-province of Prussia into a great power, and he certainly took enormous risks involving conquest of Silesia under shrewd pretext, an unpardonable sin against the rule-based order in the eyes of three nanny queens who tried for 7 years to annihilate him. From the perspective of anyone aiming to do similar things he was a role model, and for anyone aiming to suppress any such ambitions for ever in 1945 he had to be vilified as an evil man as Maria Theresa did.

I once had this particular music on an LP record, along with the other three flute concertos by king Frederick II of Prussia. Back then I didn't particularly enjoy listening to Kurt Redel's flute-playing. And hearing it again some 35 years later makes me remember why I felt this way. His playing-style sounds somewhat outdated - especially in the second movement. He plays all the trills very machine-like, almost like a robot. And the orchestra doesn't exactly sound inspiring, either. There are far better recordings out there.

Firdrich hatte also Europa einen schlechten Dienst erwiesen !

@wq67376 жыл бұрын
