Mirko's arm being twisted was actually censored in the the anime. In the manga the Nomu rips her arm clean off and she goes feral like when an animal gets wounded.

Alright, time for a fun fact about the High-Ends They're not all named in the anime but in a volume extra: Woman -Shes the woman one. Described as calm and levelheaded Ribby -The one with the long droopy head that's like a hat. The body was from a psycho killer Robot -The one with a mechanic armor like head. It's an armor because the brain is only loosely attached Chubs -The big one fighting Crust. Its body was from a glutton Eleph -the one who looks like an elephant. Specialized for pure power

But they are just nameless reanimated corpses so I also get it. Most of the quirks are “unnamed” so I had to come up with it myself. Which isn’t too bad with the descriptions and visuals that come with it. So that was fun.

Alright we’re going into the depths of the lab today. The Doctor has been found and literally every step matters in apprehending him. Mirko is on the scene and the others are on their way as Frankenstein over here prepares to try and turn everything back on the heroes. And all HE needs is just one or two moves to make it in the clear. I’m going to split the two missions today for a 2 parter. Mirko wastes no time just destroying a bunch of lab equipment and preventing several Nomu front and center from being used. Garaki clearly values the “lives” of these creatures as he thinks of them as pets and…based on “little ones” I guess children too. Well that, and the “big one” we know has to be Gigantomachia based on that alone. Kinda just giving you the scope of how terrifying this whole operation is. If you need more, look at what is needed to dispatch just the LOW level Nomu. The fact that among the many teams, they have AIZAWA AND ENDEAVOR team up is all you need to know how necessary every ounce of power is. All while this evacuation of the hospital goes down, numerous hidden entrances just throw every Nomu they got at them. But because they are low levels, Aizawa erasing their quirks erases their heads too. (Get it?) Endeavor even thinks about hiring Aizawa on the spot, but let’s be honest. If the UA teachers weren’t UA teachers, they would all take up most of the top 10 hero chart with how powerful they are EXCEPT the top 4 or 5. The kids start their evacuation. And some might be wondering why the 5 most powerful students are away from the main operations. Pretty much ALL of them have friendly fire issues in close quarters and could be easy distractions when everyone needs every inch and step against the beasts from within. You can’t see where Deku aims wind blasts, Iida running around top speed is problematic when we know he has control issues and being in people’s blind spots can cause trouble at his speeds, Todoroki can change the terrain too much when he’s not in sync with other heroes, and Bakugo is Bakugo. Uraraka is the ONLY one who doesn’t have issues like this, but having her getting too close to Nomu is just way too risky as helpful as destabilizing them by effecting their gravity is. She is very likely to gain spread but that’s not right now. And now we just have BAKUGO being on major Rescue duty. Y’know, the one hero trait he’s DEFINITELY not. LOOK AT THIS LAB. All these purple canisters are Nomus in progress! They are EVERYWHERE. There has to be over 100 High level Nomu in production down here! Mirko is just one kick shy but is suddenly interrupted by one of the most disturbing Nomu. Mocha. Is it strong? No. It’s got no specs but one quirk….and it’s DOUBLE. The Doctor ALREADY copied Twice’s quirk and could have implanted it in ANY of these beings and likely one VERY terrifying possibility. The instant game over move I warned of in season 5. It’s one of the ONLY ways to make this quirk more dangerous and he was likely just days away from doing it. In the hands of Nomu or AFO, the durability problem all but vanishes as breaking any of THESE creatures bones is so much effort you might as well have made a whole new Nomu/AFO. I don’t know what the purpose is of these little pet versions other than to let your guard down or maybe they are test products for the larger creatures. Gotta have the small ones have it before moving up to the big ones. And 5 High End Nomu are awakened. I got each of their specs all worked out and what Mirko is just SOLOING. Robot: Likely Garaki’s newest addition among the High End Nomus if I were to guess. The giant metal helmet is actually because his brain is barely attached to his shoulders and his legs are robotic with other robotic implantments for other areas. (I think the entire head is considered the brain for the Nomu) Which is probably a pretty big disappointment for Garaki because THIS one with a twist of its hand created a black hole that ripped off Mirko’s arm. And it being so much more vulnerable than the others is just a relief it wasn’t really done stabilizing OR being built. 1. Super Regeneration 2. Spatial Distortion 3. Eye Laser Chubs: Born of a Glutton who I can assume had…let’s say a non ethical appetite. (So likely like Moonfish from the OG Vanguard Action Squad) He has robotic thruster legs and has a brain guard so that might be what the doctor was working on for him. He can also devour Crust’s shield. 1. Super Regeneration 2. Body Expansion 3. Metal Teeth 4. Multi-Mouth Ribby: Born of a serial murderer. He’s more deformed than the other 4 and is skinny and if I were to guess, Garaki was working on his body modifications. But he does appear to be one of the most well put together. 1. Super Regeneration 2. Antennae Extension 3. Rib Cage Protrusion Eleph: Not much to note about this one other than it’s just the group muscle. Probably going to be like a Muscular equivalent in the end. It’s the least noticeable one shockingly. It also has a self cooling system literally having exhaust pipes out its back. 1. Super Regeneration 2. Elephant 3. Arm Bulk Woman (yes that is the actual name): This is DEFINITELY the closest one to completion as it’s the one that Garaki actually called by name. She’s an all arounder unlike the others having dedicated roles like tanks, muscles, or long range. Just another wild beast at least for now though. 1. Super Regeneration 2. Liquification 3. Rupture Now keep this in mind they won’t awaken fully AT ALL for this fight, and THIS is what they are capable of right out the gate of their around 12 hour warm up that Hood did in Season 4, and Hood DEFINITELY finished all his modifications while we don’t know as much per se for the 5 High Ends here even with their LUDICROUS specs for other Nomu. I imagine the full end product would’ve been them all being on par with Hood. So 6 quirks each, independent thinking, and body modifications that handle the most environments possible. Based on the fact Chubs was implanted with the knowledge of Crust’s hero number I imagine they were all prepped to go against major heroes around the country. MIRKO on the other hand has to be acknowledged for what she is. This INSANE performance of her’s EASILY puts her on the spectrum of Injured All-Might. At bare MINIMUM 20%, but likely 30% to 50% on JUST physical prowess. She doesn’t have a giant energy armor that boosts every stat, have flight, or anything. She is just RIDICULOUS. Heroes never really get to go all out as lethal force is off the table. NOT AGAINST THE NOMU. You have the freedom to act as you please because they are reanimated corpses. Her quirk is simple but having boosted instincts, hearing, and likely having a proportional muscle spread from a rabbit to a human body is actually crazy. Rabbits top speeds can be from 25 mph to 45 mph. It’s definitely not a multiplication thing for her when she’s battling Nomu and they are known Mach speed fighters in this show. You just gotta take it as is. Mirko is UNSTOPPABLE. Easy thing to say…but it’s just insanity how little will stop her as she loses an arm without even SLOWING DOWN.

@@Kaempfdog Mirko also went by the name Tiger Bunny in her highschool days (also as an idol name when she went undercover with shemage, kendo, and pony). Always looking for underground fights and has even met Rappa before (they share the same passion for fighting, but disagree over kicks vs punches). She has fought the Hood nomu before his High End phase as a highschooler. She can literally smell fights from a mile away.

She would just have temporary agencies and go around Japan, covering no specific jurisdiction. The only other person like this was Aizawa. Although he did have an agency at some point near Ms. Joke, he mostly just went around with luggage and slept/patrolled wherever during his early days

Just a heads up for Kenny, as I hope this name will sound familiar, but the yellow jumpsuit guy running in the front with Kaminari is Eel Boy. (SPOILER BELOW) He's killed by Twice and impersonated by Toga to kill heroes. (SPOILER BELOW) Eel Boy is the hero Uraraka remembers when she thinks of who protects the heroes when they're hurting, she remembers seeing him back when she was young.

The Gunga villa battle begins!(Splitting the two missions for a 2 parter) The kids in the back are aware of the horrifying precedent set by this operation what’s on the table. Mineta justifiably feels relaxed with the greatest heroes in the country all on the front lines at once. The kids major incidents they’ve come across are always from heroes being split up or lacking the resources on hand spread between too few people. The exception being Kamino, but AFO isn’t here. So him trusting this situation makes total sense for what we’ve seen. And the hero in charge of them reminds them, yeah we have the best of the best here. But THAT is how crazy this situation is with the villain’s resources. You are a necessary factor and precaution. And Mineta has avoided most of them as scary as his encounters have been. Jiro was hurt by Mustard in season 3 from his gas typhoon and watched Kaminari be used as a hostage by a lightning villain in season 1. Momo being apart of the same fight helping her fight those concerns makes total sense. Skeptic didn’t make a mistake! He just overlooked Hawks spreading coded information en masse about all their numbers, bases, people, and dates of coordinated attacks! And all he had to do was use the Destro book and talk about Liberation. Skeptic just got BLIND SIDED by his own cult cause. It’s Twice’s fault! Skeptic has only failed ONCE. Not when he accidentally awakened Twice’s full power AGAINST HIM, and not here. (I STILL want to say verbatim what Skeptic considers a “failure.” No one unaware would believe me in a million years so long as there’s no quotes or chapters. But I have to withhold for everyone who IS aware’s sanity sake.) And Cementoss just erupts the whole place so they can see everyone entering the fight and don’t get any surprises who is where. And the reason the likes of Kaminari is called up front? It’s THIS liberation leader from the Brown regiment. (He’s in the SUPPORT regiment. THAT is what they put this villain under.) Elemental powers are especially strong but electricity is among the most powerful of them. Every human in the world is weak to it. And coming across someone that can just HALT that many people in one move is just NOT what you need for this kind of operation. (Which does bode poorly for how that Lightning hero in the 2nd movie is doing. Speculated to be Kaminari’s mom is likely still in the hospital after a car crash with Spinner’s truck.) Midnight has been trying to be a major comfort for the kids as this is the 1st time they’ve sought out the villains who keep causing chaos in their lives. She’s not doing a show so she’s just being caring with no extra comments. And she talks Kaminari into action by making him imagine he’s saving those closest to him. In this case it’s not just his classmates. It’s Jiro specifically. They’ve been building affection pretty steadily since season 3 and ESPECIALLY season 4. And they have the Horikoshi stamp of approval. So having Kaminari stone wall this liberation leader and prevent major casualties in the opening moves is just VITAL. And he learned how to be a proper lightning rod grounding the electric blast by pointing down and not just up, which is minimal strain on him too! And the true opening into the Gunga villa is laid bare. Next time, we see what’s to come from with both.

I now understand when Skeptic failed before, and yeah. It's probably the funniest plot twist in the series. 🤣🤣🤣 Also, love the Kamijiro moment this episode. This is kinda the first piece of real shipping fuel the show provides outside of Dekuravity, and I'm glad it was my OTP. ⚡️🎧 🥰

@@HaydrogenBomb XD I had to seriously convince myself to not spoil. The two big twists that came of the Skeptic mistake situation I am just 100% confident no one would believe me without context. Also Kamijiro is definitely one of the big ships for me. I get especially happy when Horikoshi lets his approval slip through. I think there are only really 4 ships he’s at least said he’s approved. Deku and Uraraka (my favorite), Kaminari and Jiro, Kirishima and Mina, and although he didn’t intentionally write for this one says he does like Todoroki and Momo. And I don’t argue with the writer.

5:11 See, the thing that pissed me off in these first episodes is how we are doing the "lolz look at bakugo yell" gag again, which here is entirely anime only. The manga has him evacuating people in his rough manner without complaining once, or talking about wanting to be on the front lines. Bacause at this point, Bakugo knows full well how evacuation and rescue are a big part of heroism. He has been learning it ever since dvk part 2. Anime staff didn't get the memo.
