Shigaraki literally woke up, took someone out, stole their drip and made it look BETTER on himself, destroyed a city, and is now calling a giant monster to his side. Yeah, the heroes are screwed. Side note, it's a good thing X-Less destroyed that machine. If he hadn't, Shigaraki would've had a large amount of quirk destroying bullets. Now he only has a few. Which is still bad, but it could be worse. Speaking of which, imagine arranging a plan to get the jump on people and then you start losing. That's just sad. Rooting for the villains tbh. Shigaraki is just one of my favs. Oh. And he can control what he decays now. So that's nice.

I mean he kinda sucks as an antagonist moving forward. It's like both he and Horikoshi are fighting to keep him relevant to combat Shigiraki's development into the TRUE big bad of the series, and I'm not sure yet if it functions or not.

This is one of my favorite episodes of season six. It really set me up for what I was getting this season. They did so well in letting us know sht is about to go down and this is not about to be as easy as they setted it up to be in the first few episodes. I swear with these next two seasons, as soon as we get one step ahead, something always happens and then we’re two steps back again. So many things go wrong rather than right with these two seasons😂 The STRESS is unreal!

Have to split up the Villa and Hospital missions for a 2 parter. This is the Villa coverage. At the Gunga Villa, Tokoyami does the impossible and escapes Fat Gum’s missile silo fat. He can stop bullets, building long blades, missiles, and tank Mach 8-10 Rappa who all things considered left Fat Gum unscathed by the end of the arc with no permanent damage. (And that whole barrage is what it takes for him to run OUT of his quirk energy.) Tokoyami just slips away and goes to save Hawks who he saw in the flash of fire that Dabi created. Kaminari makes a Zelda reference, and Fat Gum has had enough. Ejects the kids and now has to stop ANOTHER UA kid from causing a giant incident on ground zero. Tokoyami makes it ALL THE WAY to where Dabi and Hawks have more or less finished their battle with Hawks at the END of his rope. He’s getting cremated and it’s working FAST. The color tone on his now former wings is VERY close to his shirt. You know. The tar black one. Ummm. I think we may have to invent a new type of burn. Is that 4th or 5th degree burn? And Dabi immediately sets his eyes on his next opponent. He’s got a whole web of opponents and they are ALL weak to fire. (Don’t even think Fat Gum does well against elemental opponents.) Might seem weird Dabi immediately knows Tokoyami is a UA rookie, but actually Dabi HAS encountered him before at the camp attack. Compress hoped to kidnap him so they could tame the maximum beast of Dark Shadow for themselves after it beat Moonfish. And he saw the marble they didn’t retrieve when they took Bakugo captive. And Dabi…actually seems partially alright with continuing that plan by having Tokoyami take a good long look at Hawk’s handiwork. A body, and a matching egregious description of what went down. Can Tokoyami agree on upholding the status quo, or is this the start of something more menacing? But Tokoyami makes the right choice. He can’t really take part in active combat in this war, but he can save lives. Dabi immediately gives up and just skips to the execution. Yeah not only is Hawks weak to fire so is Tokoyami for completely different reasons! Dabi generates a LOT of light when he unleashes his blue fire and Dark Shadow can’t stay out as much when that’s happening and could even be destroyed. It’s all Tokoyami can do yank himself away from the scene with Hawks courtesy of a big distraction from Geten reopening the hidden passages in the manor. (Tokoyami is NOT ok with what Dabi showed him but trusts the call he made was needed. Sadly Hawks didn’t play his hand with Twice very well and COULD have evaded this outcome, but sometimes the story just has to come before show logic. Twice was just too powerful to stay alive.) Dabi goes to start getting ready for whatever his next move is while Geten launches Mount Lady’s…assets at Fat Gum. This villa battle is far from over. Redestro wants to get back on the field ASAP as he can stop so many heroes at once. But as he’s gathering intel and working what he can…he stops. Everyone in the giant meeting hall stops. They ALL know how terrifying it is when Machia starts moving. They can’t guarantee he won’t friendly fire. And he’s HYPED to…smell his master being awake. And with that, BOTH people the heroes didn’t have answers for are here. One move takes away EVERYTHING the heroes have for both missions. And we just started rolling down the hill.

Imagine if it had stuck, if Dark Shadow joined the villains. 😨 Also, I know blue fire is hotter than orange fire, but is it brighter, too? Cause we've seen Shoto's flames help tame Dark Shadow before, and I wonder if Dabi is a worse match-up in the regard. - Mt. Lady crushing Fat Gum under her: "A good death."

@@HaydrogenBomb Kaminari: “It’s dangerous to go alone.” It’s the line an old man says to Link when he gets the 1st sword in the 1st Zelda game in 1986. HIGHLY recommend Zelda games. They are always Nintendo’s biggest efforts system to system and are all fantastic. As for Dabi, it depends what you put it in perspective of. I’ve put other fire users on spectrum with stars. In terms of stars, blue stars are the largest, brightest, hottest, and can fit hundreds of red stars condensed but they don’t last anywhere near as long as yellow and red. I can’t give Dabi a temperature spectrum yet. As hot as he is, hes mainly been put against very flammable things. So nothing actively gives away how strong he is at this juncture.

After ALL of the efforts, buildup, teamwork, special moves and preparations for EVERYTHING in this operation, we have arrived at the only players on this battlefield that matter. One of them is Shigaraki. And he just came back from the DEAD to swing EVERY LAST FRAGMENT of this battle towards the villain’s momentum. (I’ll split the Hospital mission and the Villa mission for a 2 parter. This is for the Hospital) X-Less being left alone in THAT area of the hospital, the absolute deepest pit of the lab while your allies fight some of the most dangerous creature known to man with the corpse of the intended KING of these creatures when everything ELSE is reawakened from death here…just. Among the most terrifying experiences to have. And as he looks for equipment to destroy to prevent it from being used ever again, he looks away long enough. As Shigaraki gets up before him. None of that means that these Nomu are even DONE yet. Aizawa can’t have all of them pinned at once, and those he HAS erased are still handling top 10 heroes with practical ease. And the priority list just keeps expanding. Endeavor has to fight the Nomu known as Woman, who is rupturing her own body and restoring it with such a force Endeavor needs to make a firewall for protection….and it’s not even for HIM. Mirko STILL WANTS TO FIGHT. After EVERYTHING this absolute crazy lady has accomplished she wants MORE?! And ANOTHER new broken combo jumps in the ring. Rocklock and Gran Torino. (Guess Nomu don’t count as living for Rocklock’s quirk which works on the non living.) These Nomu are easily pinning several pros WITHOUT quirks and Gran Torino is ACTUALLY knocking them over and blasting them apart WITH them. Gran Torino is among the few that can likely fight one of these solo proper. (And Endeavor acknowledging Gran Torino with genuine gratitude for him being here. It’s so off to the side, but Endeavor and Gran Torino have met like what, twice or three times? And Endeavor has CONSISTENTLY given Gran Torino high respect. And even follows orders like a student would for a gym teacher in season 2, AND HE DIDN’T HAVE HIM AS A TEACHER. That is how fast Gran Torino got Endeavor’s respect) But after a few more major strikes, it’s clear the 5 High-Ends are done. They couldn’t fully awaken and couldn’t the heroes got enough on the scene to stop them. Everyone put EVERYTHING they got into it. And have exhausted the best combos they could find. Even apprehending Garaki. But while this is happening Shigaraki demonstrates two terrifying feats at once. When he grabs X-Less by the face, we see X-Less shoot a laser. And Shigaraki just DOES NOT care with apparently laser proof hands, and decays him without damaging his cape to use for himself. It is cold. He needs some fresh air. Deku and crew are helping with the evacuation and everything is quiet as everyone helps the pets, people, and making sure not even their day to day work will be lost in any case. Iida is directing traffic, and he’s been practicing! (Last time he tried he spazzed so hard I’m surprised he didn’t dislocate his shoulder getting people on the bus to camp) This is a role he’s born to do and an important literary contribution MUST be protected! Bakugo screams at the elderly, and although he’s ticked about being interrupted the MOMENT Uraraka brings up taking up her offer for dessert, Bakugo complies. (Bakugo either secretly wanted the dessert or just he did it just because Uraraka told him to. Both plausible since she has Bakugo’s rare respect considering they’ve remained practical equals the whole show) Everything is calm. And then, it’s not. Deku stops in his tracks instantly as his rescue priority falls away when the 1st OFA comes out of NOWHERE to speak to him. Deku hasn’t had a vestige encounter since he awakened Blackwhip. And it’s been a few months since that happened. OFA isn’t here to chat. Or want Deku to converse. He has to force out the vital information NOW. “9th, he’s coming. A transcendent one approaches. Freed from the shackles of humanity his power grows. Stop him.” That basically means, it’s time to do your job. Not as a hero, not as the symbol of peace in training. This is the role as a holder of OFA. If an AFO appears, YOU ENGAGE TO STOP IT. And Deku basically gets his warning before even the animals that can sense natural disasters. NO MATTER your skill level or power. The heroes have begun their cleanup of the High Ends at the scene, but suddenly with a mere touch of the ground, there’s a new priority and it clears out EVERY priority on the list they just had. CLEAR OUT and prioritize the most powerful. PERIOD. (Just like when the Deika City incident occurred, there’s a walking signal switching to STOP WALKING. Not in MVA but the scene before the Endeavor Agency arc starts) Every impossible decision has to be made IMMEDIATELY. Ribby decided to play possum but comes to drag Aizawa in, but Crust makes his choice. He couldn’t keep up too well with the Nomu, and knows Aizawa is VITAL. And just like that we lose a top 10 hero and he goes out with a Terminator 2 exit. (Respect. RIP Crust, you emotional heart of gold) Even getting out of the LAB isn’t enough. IT KEEPS GOING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN AND INTO THE CITY. The heroes in the city were NOT READY OR WARNED. And there’s just NOTHING stopping this. No walls, no barriers, it just keeps going. Buildings collapse, roads vanish, it all disappears, MILES UPON MILES of landmass. If you can’t move at Mach speeds, you essentially cease. And the Doctor just laughs looking at his handiwork. NOTHING stops this wave. Nothing CAN. And then there’s the ultimate test. Is OFA effective? Deku has come a long way! He’s more than doubled his power AGAIN to 45% and is now operating at an entire new level! For Deku’s new level his 100% has expanded as well for the new stockpiled energy and I’m sticking to control and stockpile rising at the same time same rate. 45/20 is 2.25, and you expand his last arsenal of 400 to 900. (2.25x400) Making his 100% go from Mach 6 to Mach 13.5. And he’s operating at 45% of his new arsenal putting him at a little over Mach 6 WITHOUT hurting himself. (405 of 900 being the new 45%. So Deku’s expansion puts him ahead of where he was with Eri on his back with no drawback. OFA growth rate continues to be patently absurd.) Is that enough to match what we’re seeing? NOPE. RUN. Todoroki can’t stall, no one else can stall, that’s it. Shigaraki and Deku don’t even appear to be on the same SPECTRUM because not even more than doubling AGAIN to Deku’s current 100% is even CLOSE. And Deku just remembers how close he was to just losing everything in the shopping mall during their encounter in season 2. Communications are going down, no one can see what’s happening and there’s a SATELLITE IMAGE of this place just CEASING TO EXIST. Leaving what must be THOUSANDS of lives lost in an instant…with no trace of them existing in the 1st place. Like nothing was ever here…at all. And in the middle of it all stands Shigaraki. He didn’t even have a recoil after FAR surpassing what he did in Deika by SEVERAL MILES. He was underneath a MOUNTAIN before he touched the ground. (So he’s likely no longer cold. Fresh air is good for him) Now there’s no trace of anything. No longer a monument to AFO’s accomplishments. Now we stand at Shigaraki’s monument. He casually goes over to check the machine X-Less destroyed. DOZENS of quirk deleters. He got the DOCTOR TO MASS PRODUCE THEM. Not many left thanks to X-Less. But not having many can mean WAY TOO MANY from that. Well THAT’S not a tool we need him to have availability to. And AFO appears to be trying to talk to Shigaraki as a vestige too! Great! Like he never left! Is there anything ELSE you’d like to do?! “To me Machia. Get everyone. From here I’ll destroy everything.” Yeah. You just proved you CAN. And MACHIA got his order. HE’S IN PLAY. 2 beings. And the villains go from losing everything…to having a SOLID lead. With no loss of momentum. Things are about to get even CRAZIER. And next time? The Herculean task of stopping EITHER of these two begins.

By the way, season 7 is still on going. So I recommend that you both wait until the MHA Movie: Your Next is available in the dub, and then react to season 7. As 'Your Next' takes place in the anime's timeline before the final season/battle. F.Y.I, 'Your Next' comes to the UK around 18th October.
