Something to note, these nomus are high ends like hood( the one endeavor fought) however hood had multiple hours to get used to conditions outside of the pod. So he was more ‘awake’ and ready to go. Therefore, the longer these nomus are alive, the stronger and smarter they’re going to get….

We just didn’t see the very end of her arm. 7:38 You can see the arm literally snapping in two here when you look at how two parts on one side of the frame are clearly connected but go their separate ways after a distinct “Crack”

Aizawa stopped the quirk that was allowing the nome to manipulate the drills. Same as he stops people whose arms are guns from firing them (as we saw in Season 1). His quirk doesn’t remove the item itself as it’s part of the body, it it renders it inoperative.
