I love how Skeptic is just like, "Meeting's cancelled. Everybody go home!" Also, the doctor just casually had one of the strongest quirks in this verse(double) in a tiny Nomu. It's a good thing Mirko managed to kick that. If they managed to keep that copy of Twice's quirk, there could've been a potential Sad Man's parade on in two places at once. The heroes quite literally would've been done. Also, also, Tomura in that suit in the flashback. King of drip. But the thing that was really funny was seeing all of the villains panicking and Dabi's just casually strolling through. Man can not be paid to care more about what's going on. But also, Dabi, maybe if you would've gotten Hood's body back, the High Ends might be more stabilized than they are now. And if you hadn't recruited Hawks, literally none of this would be happening. Like, this man's nonchalance has probably done more damage than anything. Obviously, Dabi is very intelligent but these risks he's taking are wild.

So about the gore in MHA, keep in mind that before this we've been only following children for the most part, these "veteran" heros probably had to kill before to stop someone, so it's no suprise Mirko is fine with beheading a Nomu (it probaby helps that they are corpses). But if you remember there were already some gory fight scenes (although not to this extent) and also a beheading actually. In Hosu when Endeavor was fighting the Nomus, he beheaded one with his blue flames, but it wasn't this gory because we only saw the smoke leftover.

Oh god SO much shenanigans already. I’ve been looking forward to this arc SO much. We all have. Let’s start with Mirko. We were all distracted by her assets. She’s always all in and ready to plow through all the trouble in the world…there is literally no way to make it out of this paragraph. All jokes aside, she truly is one of the strongest heroes for a reason. To just race in and not even FLINCH at her arms getting force crushed and keep going and simply tie a rag around her arm, for her to DECAPITATE NOMU. Hood, the one Endeavor battled, decapitated ITSELF to STAY ALIVE from 5,000° fire blasts. And she’s just…ripping them off like it’s a GAME. She’s SO great to see in action. But just the ominous feeling of EVERY high end in the background. ALL those purple canisters are Nomu. And I don’t even think all the High Ends are awake. And worse, we all have to remember. High Ends are called LITTLE ONES, as are ALL Nomu…because the BIG one…is Gigantomachia. THAT’S the one actually considered close to the power of All-Might and AFO. And from what I hear, I am referring to PRIME All-Might. And he’s NOT crippled. I don’t think he’s actually as strong. But he’s close. The kids evacuating in the background and Mineta just sitting back, (once again being quite observant. Knowing they SHOULDN’T be acting, and if they do, all hell is breaking loose.) Iida and Deku on a team doing rapid evacs is just an excellent team for that. And I love how Deku was just chilling with Uraraka til the order came down. So happy to see them not exploding about each other’s presence anymore. We also end on Kaminari. Background couple brewing has been him and Jiro. Horikoshi gave this one his personal stamp of approval. Honestly I’d have Jiro in the back of the front lines and Kaminari also further back. Electricity and tasing stops just about everyone and every living thing in their tracks and honestly might be best for defense. But having him be the lightning rod for this Liberation commander is AWESOME. To take THAT much electricity already from a high tier pro hero equivalent goes to show how good he’ll REALLY be when he’s a prime adult. And ANY kid brought out here to the front lines is essentially the heroes saying, you’re ALREADY on the track to be unstoppable, you can manage out here. (And also not have quirks that wouldn’t actively obstruct other heroes like say Todoroki’s giant ice blasts.) This is GREAT stuff and we’re ONLY GETTING STARTED.

Ahhh, that kind of makes sense about the Todoroki bit because I was wondering why they wouldn't have him there once they said they're looking for ranged fighters. I put it down to him interning at Endeavour's so having him on Endeavour's team would add up. He does/did prefer fighting alone. But also having Todoroki at the Gunga Mountain Villa creating ice and then having Geten use that ice against the heroes is counterproductive. And having him use just fire is limiting him to 50%.

But when you think about them at maximum, they’re power could seriously hinder others and they don’t really work well in groups. (Deku being the exception, but Endeavor is WELL aware Deku is holding back an ENORMOUS of amount of power he very well would end up using in fight or flight circumstance.)

It would be a very difficult situation for the heroes if all of these highends reached hoods level of stabilization..only current manga deku would be able to hndle them with ease. Endeavor almost died and barely won against hood and that was just one complete highend. Imagine at least more than 10 of them...
