I have a miroku 9000 baught brand new in Australia 1991 . Have shot thousands of cartridges for hunting and clays and still going strong. Looks brand new as well. Great gun

I have a 9000v . Grade 5 wood. Fantastic thing. So much so I won the club today with it. 30 inch barrels and extended chokes. Love it.

I’ve funnily enough just sold my Mk70 and bought a 9000. I haven’t got her yet but will (hopefully) soon. The wood is definitely a lot nicer than anything “standard” and I look forward to taking it out for some fun soon. Thanks for the video

Hi Matt, could you do a review on the Miroku ML 11 sporter adjustable it's hard to find any information on this shotgun.

Hi Jason thank you for your comment. I will put it on the list. None here in the UK so might have to import one. Kind regards, Matthew

I have a Miroku 9000, lovely gun I wouldn't change it, I bought it from Premier Guns at Doveridge, from an extremely patient chap who took the time and effort to go the long way round to convince me I needed an adjustable comb, Matt his name was, now where could he be now?
@eastfieldgunroom6 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Yes I wonder where can he be?🤔...Kind regards,Matthew

Great review, agree about the highly figured wood(black walnut), the wood you get a G5 even G3 with other makes you have to step into the very high grades costing 5x the price of a Miroku. That said I have seen stocks cracked at the hand on MK10 G5, Miroku warranty the wood for 3 yrs. I think high grade gunstock wood is getting harder to obtain. I like dark figured wood and well cut scroll engraving 30-50% coverage.

Thank you for your comment and kind words Bruce. American Walnut can be a bit tricky for cracking but there seems to have been a bit of a shift in the strength of the stocks through the 'head' over the last few years. Will get round to your emails I promise. Kind regards, Matthew

The MK 70 that I have has a large hollow in the stock. I wonder if this gun has a more solid stock with less of the wood removed?
@eastfieldgunroom Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. That would certainly explain the barrel heaviness of the gun. Kind regards, Matthew

it would be great if you could make a review of Miroku 12 gauge SL-120. or the 2o bore.

Thank you for your comment. I have only ever seen one Miroku SL120 but I like a challenge! Kind regards, Matthew

Would it be ok to shoot steel loads through this at more open chokes? Consensus seems to be yes but still bit spooked about pressures generated by modern steel loads
@eastfieldgunroom6 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. This gun would be fine with standard performance steel (not high performance) through open chokes. Kind regards, Matthew

Another interesting gun review. Am I right in thinking that Chopper Lump barrels are unusual in mass produced O/U’s, including older guns?
@eastfieldgunroom Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Indeed, most manufacturers use what are essentially sleeved barrels yet Browning/Miroku up until 1995 (approx) were chopperlump. Kind regards, Matthew

Love the 9000, was basically a better finished version of gti, now is the mk10, which is a step up from a mk38, shame the mk10 isn't sold in more countries

Thank you for your comment. The 9000 is indeed a cracking gun. I'm actually starting to regret letting this one go. Kind regards, Matthew
@fullchoke01 Жыл бұрын
As with most Miroku's you regret passing them on, and 100% over here in Aus Miroku is probably the most seen gun, and the higher grades/ competition guns are used by many of our top shooters
