Wow! That is definitely an instant winner for Miroku fans. The silver inlays on these designs need to be seen in person as they do not show up very well on video. They are striking and very classic. Thanks for another great video!

Oh and one more thing - those barrel weights - once happy with them in terms of balance and position - thread-lock them with something mild. If under fore-end and they work loose where you can't see them they can cosmetically damage barrel and fore-end finish if they work loose. It happened my best friend...

Great to see a Miroku that is almost balanced.... Daughter (18) shoots a Mk70, 30 inch barrels and invector choked. I had to put 10oz of lead into the stock bolt hole to get it balancing on the hinge pin.
@AdamsClayPigeonGuide2 ай бұрын
Did you put it all the way down the stock hole to the bolt or pack it to only put weights near the pad?
@nigelmchugh55412 ай бұрын
@AdamsClayPigeonGuide kept it back to the pad end, stuffed the bolt hole with kitchen towel first. 1 oz fishing weight's. Might change it by melting some lead, as then less would do as you could keep it even closer to the pad.
@eastfieldgunroom2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. That is crazy but not surprising. The MK70 in particular is a very barrel heavy model. Kind regards, Matthew

@eastfieldgunroom She is a slight girl, and in a 50 bird shoot her left arm would be aching. Tried it last Sunday with the stock weighted, and be it fluke or skill, she shot a personal best 42.

Such a great gun! It would be a joy to own. Very nice review as always. I do wish they would start making these, the MK70´s and the Brownings with a bigger, more pronounced pistol grip.
@eastfieldgunroom2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment and kind words. There are models that feature a bigger grip such as the 725 Prosport. Kind regards, Matthew

@@eastfieldgunroom I know, it is the guns sharing the 525 platform i´m referring to, they could do with a more "competition minded " stock, like the one on the 725 ProSport 👍 A year ago you were presenting the MK38 Trap LE on the PG channel. Time flies 😄

Is the comb hight particularly low? You seem to be looking into the back of the action? Camera angle?
@eastfieldgunroom2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. The comb height is not particularly low, more that I need a high comb. Plenty of adjustment on this Browning/Miroku system. Kind regards, Matthew

Lovely gun! They should make it mainstream as arguably it has more of what the modern market wants than the standard version. Miroku need a competition gun in their UK range not just sporters

That looks a really good buy Matt. A proper can do anything, future proofed gun with looks to match. I know aesthetics are a personal thing but, the all silver action engraving and trigger appeals to me personally more than the gold, but just an opinion. If only it had interchangeable recoil pad and spacer capacity, it would be the complete package. Thanks for the review. On a different note, will you be reviewing the Browning 825 anytime in the near future?

Nice, smells a bit browning though- likely due to Browning running the show, i'd love for Miroku to make the 38 in same spec as an mk10, you add weight system onto an mk10 sporter and adjustable and that is a very hard to beat combo

Nice, would like to see how it will compare to the new Browning 825? Just saw the 825 Browning on KZbin.
@eastfieldgunroom2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Personally I think it will be a similar story as to how it compares to the 725 range of guns. From what I can see there are no changes in the platform of the action in the new 825. Kind regards, Matthew

@@eastfieldgunroom understand that as prices change. But an approx launch price at time of review is always helpful to know if they’re in people’s range. No point watching a 17 min review if it’s double someone’s budget etc.

That engraving looks a like the Browning 525 Liberty 🧐
@eastfieldgunroom2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I think that the only similarity between the two engraving styles is that there is deeper engraving (focus point) in the middle surrounded by finer scroll work. Lets not forget that both guns are made by Miroku. Kind regards, Matthew
