Good lad. I just bought one a bit like yours. Mine is a 1968! I paid £250! You did well. Today we sanded, filled the hull and fiberglassed a few areas. Painting the hull this week, then on to the varnish. See you on the water!!!

Looks great bro, maybe build a teardrop caravan style cabin in the middle area, might hold two with gear strapped on the deck, get yourself a trailer when you get that car of yours and you've got a mini-caravan to bug out with.

Four in a Mirror is at least one too many - a crew of two OK for a day's outing. I'd suggest trying to get another dink and sail 2+2 for camping! How are things progressing?

The holes where u refer to as storage compartments Andre not storage compartments they are buoyancy compartments sodo not fill em with any thing otere than air bags also you do not have 2 booms you do have a boom a GAF and a mast and the sails u mention will be a jib and a main and its not a racing one otherwise to would have aspinica also you do not have 2 mast positions one is a jib stay

James - Position one (forward) is for single-handed sailing, using only the mainsail. A smaller jib may be used in either position, for a simpler single-handed operation. Racing sails do exist, and are available online as is a spinnaker. I agree about the compartment though, although one does not require air bags for a (mostly) watertight space. I do put my valuables, picnic, drinks, and spares in the aft compartment only - which stays mostly dry. It's a fun little boat, and WildAdventurer is having fun...

Continuing good luck and enjoyment! I'd just finished stripping, and re-painting the outside, went out for a sail - which was great - but holed her on the trailer on the way home! :-( Always something to do with her...
