To all the nay-sayers, from all the videos I've watched about this, you can see they show MAN, Scania, or Volvo trucks. This technology was developed mostly in Northern European countries such as Norway. After 39 years in the oilfield and now trucking, I will tell you that no other people do safety design better than the Norwegians. I would love to have this system on my 2019 T680.

So someone tell me wtf you do going 70 mph down the highway and they no longer work. Run over some 4 wheelers trying to pull off the interstate? What if you’re on. a 2 lane with no place to pull over and you can’t see anything let your trailer drop down a 5,000 foot cliff? At 10 pm on a Friday they stop working go pay $1000 tow bill to a Volvo shop and you get to do a restart on your logs till they open Monday then get told can’t get parts Ya great idea 🤡 Just like eld’s always work properly and never break

This technology is a real danger for cars and trucks. Mirrors allow spatial viewing. Your left eye and your right have a different viewing angle and can see 3D. That's not possible with MirrorEye. As an add-on it's good. But as a replacement it's a danger.

We have been landed with a load of these horrible inventions on some DAFS. Drivers hate them, won’t drive them, image quality is atrocious particularly on the driver side. Three lines on the cameras overlayed to help judge distance is no substitute for a mirror that provides clarity and depth of vision. They are a gimmick, they are not safe and should be banned. Along with smart motorways; another bright idea.

Manual Mirror £96+vat. camera unit £ 4000+ +vat + off road+ technician + flicker rate + poor G2 quality! No fucking brainer mirrors make sense. technocrats don't drive trucks, engineers most definitely used to.

Yea im good, last thing i need is one of these go out while im in the middle or fast lane, fuck that, plus they wanna take out the fender mirrors, them are really useful when making maneuvers and pulling out of a sideways parking spot, so for me thumbs down, useless junk to me
