How I Bleach My Eyebrows (and not let them get yellow)

Hope you guys will find this brow bleaching tutorial helpful! Like i mentioned I am NOT a hairdresser, so please be kind to your skin whilst doing this!

maybe you could try to put some Vaseline around the brow area before you put the bleach on so that it can protect the skin and it doesn't burn as much

You should use cold water not warm to wash the bleach from your skin and after bleaching if your skin is really irradiated you can use a little hair conditioner or even some burn of cut ointment like Pollysporin. I have very thin pale brows and I always bleash my hair near white so I bleach my brows to match so 10 minutes and mine are white but I have very sensitive skin so it makes me crazy red so I like to use a little ointment on the area right after to sooth it and it works every time.

I have to admit, at first I was one of those people that said, "why?", but after viewing your video I understand. And to be completely honest, I think you look beautiful. Having a no brow look just makes my eyes focus more on your pretty face with bold eyes. Good idea with running a concealer through the brow; definitely makes all the difference. Hey homm.. some bleaches stop working after a while so adding the second splash of peroxide like you did will defs help. Conditioner in them after will stop any excess product developing and irritating the skin. 👍🏻

I've been bleaching my eyebrows for a year now because of you. I have a burnt dark blonde color naturally. Let me tell you bleach brows with blue eyes and not too dark hair is SO striking when I do heavy makeup or barefaced. Love it.

Manlee Man the purple toner will wash out a lot quicker then I think. You can always wait a day in between too! Sometimes I've done that if I've needed to do a third coat

I absolutely love bleached brows! I loved when I did it on myself, though they did still have a yellow tinge because my brows naturally are pretty much a heavy black and I didn't do two rounds of bleach. I toned them but brows are much more course than other hair so they didn't end up white. With my fringe now my brows aren't very visible but I would love to try bleached brows again

I use vaseline in the area around the eyebrow to prevent redness and i brush coconut oil to the brow hairs, it doesn't affect the bleaching process but it leaves the hairs much softer and protects the skin:)

Blue Floss I never usually keep them long enough to get roots, but you'll definitely need to do it at least every 2 weeks if you want to look fresh!

what would anyone recommend to use to draw brows on when they are bleached? I have the ends of my eyebrows shaved off so I draw them on and I have tan colored skin so I wasn't sure if maybe a bleach color or white pomade would work to draw them on when doing my makeup.

Kimiko Buford yes!! I love manic panic for a super temporary hair color. They sell it in a ton of colors at Sally’s Beauty Supply. The only thing I hate about it is, like I said, it is very temporary. When I bleach my hair, I prefer to use Kaleidacolors bleach in blue. It comes in purple as well if you want a more purple/silver undertone to your hair versus the true platinum blonde. The bleach is actually blue and has like a powder toner in it so it is a bleach and toner in one. Aside from quick blue, it is one of the best bleaches I have ever found. Unlike Quick Blue, it doesn’t burn, it has no smell and it will take down very dark hair to a super light blonde very quickly and you don’t get that orange or yellow tint you get with other bleaches. The only thing you need to know about Kaleidacolors is that you CANNOT use it on blonde hair at all. The lightest hair you can use it on is light brown because it is such a strong bleach. If you are looking for colors, I recommend special effects or arctic fox hair dyes if you have the money to spend or beyond the zone hair dye from Sally’s if you are looking for a decent hair color that will last better than manic panic and comes in a good variety of colors as well. I used to use beyond the zone when I had a shaved head and would bleach and color my hair a different color every 3-4 weeks. The color didn’t fade at all in that time frame and you don’t need to use a developer or anything else other than they recommend you pre-lighten your hair.
