Yoshi P is producing this game!!! So not only has he saved FFXIV from oblivion but he's now helping to bring the awesome back to the single player RPG as well!

To see another main ff game finally be announced is fantastic. Having the 14 team handle the game rather than the Nomura team handle the game is a great move they can focus on ff7 remake and kh, while shadowbringers has ended leaving Yoshi P somewhat available to take on things. All i am saying is that SE has made some great moves in recent years and have continued to do so with this. And as a fan of kh ff14 ff7 ff16 i can say its looking really good for all of them

I think the kid turns into phoenix, the guy who killed the man in front of him might have turned into Ifrit to assassinate the kid. That's what I got from it. The guy one the ground also said he was surprised there's two fire Eikon's. IDK

I think the kid is Ifrit, he goes beserk and the people around him are begging him to stop and wake up.

@@Ultima24 the kid is definitely Phoenix, in the Japanese trailer there's a guy shouting "Stop, he my little brother" when Ifrit is tearing into Phoenix.

it'll be like old FF's where certain regions have a crystal attributed to them, kind of like FF4, or even Type 0. Joshua is probably from the area with a fire crystal, and due to the fire crystal, he's got access to the fire summon, Phoenix. It'd be surprising to them if there were another fire eikon, since there should only be one, which we'll have to see the story explain. presumably other regions have other crystals, so the region of ice crystal has Shiva, and is at war with the region that has the earth crystal, ad Titan. Would explain why Titan and Shiva were in combat, and why the group of mercs is out to Kill the dominant of Shiva, presumably that means the summoner.

This game looks so good, It definitely is going to get an m rating. God I very much love that white chocobo , so very much I love it ♥️♥️♥️♥️. What I really don't like is them putting summons against summons. I think that's going to be the awful aspect of this game.

Thank god they went back to lonely hero as it has always been the theme of FF. I doubt this is everything they showed, there needs to be a party with heroines. They are definitely saving details for TGS. I heard this game is coming out in 2021. Yep, that's right, PS5 is shockingly fast to develop for like PS1. Everything I disliked about FF15 has Ivalice Team removed. I think Luminous Productions is now a different team from what they were as BD2 when they worked on FF15. Project Athia looks great and that is probably coming out in 2022 if the FFX/KH pattern follows with FF16/Athia.

Are you really criticizing the game for not showing a person of color from 1 trailer. Like really? People need to stop with that.. like they are a Japanese studio and they likely dont look at this racial stuff in the same light as people in the U.S. do since it's not as much an issue over there as it is here in the U.S. There could be tons of people of color in the game and we just haven't seen them cause uh.. this is just 1 trailer. Like if you knew anything, you'd know that Yoshi P who heads Final Fantasy XIV has definitely included all sorts in that game not to mention all the character creation options to boot. The dude knows what he's doing. Why not wait til you're actually sitting down and playing the game before you make negative comments about it.
