To everyone bitching about the audience. I was there,(can even see me in the video a few times haha) this was a free block party at a hostel. Multiple bands played. Singapore sling is one example. The block party was about praising local Icelandic music not just black metal. So pop, folk even comedy was going on. Most of my metal head friends weren't even there. If you live in iceland or have been there enough, you'll have seen these guys multiple times. Chill out and enjoy the music for fucks sake.

In place where I live it's impossible to have a such a great response from the ordinary audience while playing black \ noise music at all, in Iceland even ordinary peple have a bit of understanding of art and not shy to show their emotions, this is so great!

yeah man. this is definitely not the USA. the audience of "normies" most likely wouldn't be smiling and nodding their heads or respectful like these folks at all. but instead they'd have a scowl on their faces, be staring at their phones most of the time, debating wether or not they should call the cops bc of a "noise ordinance", screaming at their kids to stay still, there would have to be a funnel cake/ice cream/hamburgers, fries and hotdogs in their hands and they would be a bit more rotund and a lot less blonder(unless its blonde highlights)....

@@Falxifer95 Amazing place. Went there for Oration and Ascension festival every year. Just an incredible experience both inside the festival and outside. I'm English so I wasn't put off by the Nordic reputation of 'coldness' (can't be any colder than the English!) and turns out they weren't! Just buy a drink at a bar, pull up a seat and chat to the guy next to you, you'll be alright! Made a bunch of friends there. Iceland is a beautiful country, not just geographically. Reykjavik is a really wonderful city to spend time in; probably a better place to live in than to try and gasp at all the sights of as a tourist, really. Would love to spend more time there.

Misþyrming is an Icelandic black metal band known for their intense and atmospheric music. Formed in 2013, the band quickly gained recognition within the black metal scene for their raw sound and powerful live performances. Their music often combines traditional black metal elements with more modern, experimental approaches, creating a unique and immersive listening experience. Notable Releases: Söngvar elds og óreiðu (2015): Their debut album, which received critical acclaim for its aggressive yet melodic compositions. Algleymi (2019): This album further solidified their place in the black metal world, showcasing their ability to blend ferocity with complex musical structures. Band Members: D.G.: Vocals, guitars Helgi: Bass T.Í.: Drums Bjarni: Guitars Misþyrming is also known for being part of the vibrant Icelandic black metal scene, which has produced several other notable acts. The band's name, which means "abuse" or "mistreatment" in Icelandic, reflects the dark and often chaotic themes present in their music.

I bet you don't like metalcore but I don't think you're on their videos talking about how they displease you. I see a little bit of truth when you talk about their scene, but really, whatever...
