The reason they made themselves laugh is Sana suddenly started to pretend to be “Tokyo accent” and Momo started to do that too. For Japanese, “OSAKA accent” has pretty much different sound from “Tokyo accent”😂

I've been practicing Japanese for almost a year and if you're not used to practicing everyday then you'll really stutter like what happens to Momo. I genuinely say it's pretty hard.

you're not wrong but I think its a little different with momo as she was raised in Japan, being bilingual cant be easy especially if you use your second language way more than your mother tongue. you've got to remember an entire language off of the top of your head so it cannot be easy.

Sana makes this so funny to watch. Have been learning korean for a few months and understand what you mean. The words not flowing and have to stop and think what wanting to way. Some say korean is harder to learn than japanese but if you know one or the other its a little easier. Wanting to start learn japanese after my korean improves a little more. Have heard osaka dialect is different.

Kansai dialect and standard Japanese have different intonations (can be confusing sometimes if you don’t use the right intonation) so I think that’s why she was stuttering that much (trying to get the right intonation + some different vocabulary)

Naturally higher pitched when speaking in Japanese then suddenly back to a slightly low/deep pitch when speaking Korean. Especially Momo. It is like 2 different person lol

They are! They don't speak the standard Tokyo dialect, they're from a different part of Japan and so they speak in the Kansai dialect. They try to speak standard during promotions but it's difficult for them
