I am so invested in this story line and they done it well. Honestly made me cry, I'm glad the truth is out. It is sad that some women go through this and do not realise what they've been raped etc. My friend is a victim of this and this storyoime reminded me of her. It's true what Yas said. If this happened to Yas and she didn't say yes or no but her actions made it no and he ignored what will Misbah say? What are we gonna say? It's important for everyone to understand that someone may not say no due to fear but their body movements will show that they are not ready nor want it and you need to respect that. My friend knew she didn't want it showed that however was ignored and traumatised her. I'm glad That Shaq is with Misbah I was worried he'd say she lying and side with Ali

I know rape is a serious issue but this story can also potentially send the wrong signals to young woman. We know the actor in the show knew Misbah did not want to have sex but she also stated herself she did not say no. What happens in real life if there is a woman who does not actually say no to her partner/date and the man honestly believes she wanted to have sex? Then later accuses him of rape?
@sakoyalt8212 жыл бұрын
Sometimes you can’t say no, sometimes you’re too scared or you’re worried about the consequences. Sometimes it’s not as simple as “if you don’t want to, just say no”
