There is probably nothing wrong with the boom. Once you get used to operating all the controls like you're part of the machine, you will be lifting the boom while pulling the arm in, and curling the bucket all at the same time. This will result in less hydraulic pressure because you'll have like 3 valves open all at once, might even be running the turn table and swinging at the same time, and when everything slows down from that drop in pressure, you will be happy the boom still lifts the dirt out of the hole quickly. Sure it's jumpy with every valve closed and peak full pressure at the hydraulic system, but i bet with some more action you'll get used to it. Not to mention breakin in. Everything is tight cuz it's new, that won't last forever.
@MartinNr5 Жыл бұрын
Hi Brett! Thanks for the thorough feedback, and I was hoping for the controls to "settle in" but unfortunately they never did. Not even when I use all the controls at the same time does the boom really work as well as it should. If this would've been the only issue with the machine I would've taken the valve block apart and see if there's anything I could do to fix it but as you can see in my one year review of the machine (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXeknHlonpZpntk) the machine isn't worth the effort unfortunately.

A little excavator, a bit bigger than this one and also with wider tracks, would be so handy on the farm. The price of a new Japanese excavator can’t be justified. So the choice would come down to a cheap Chinese or a second hand Japanese excavator. Although there is a lot of dislike for cheap Chinese machines at least they give us a choice. Choice is good.

Thing needs a counterweight to be more stable when operating of anything weld a 100 pounds or so to back of it second thing is it really that weak and wouldnt even move those rocks out the dirt when you're operating it do you have the throttle all the way up cause if not that will also cause the controls to jerk on smaller machines I've noticed

Hi Nina! I was contemplating adding a counterweight, but I don't know the tolerances of the material and welding so I'm reluctant to put more stress on it before I've done some more research. Hi Dave. I later added controls to adjust the pressure specifically to the boom but that doesn't really help. Adjusting the pressure from the pump to the entire valve block assembly results in the rest of the controls being to slow to be useful, unfortunately. Cut those long levers down and it will help with the jerky motion. Try running it with your hands half way down like by where the bends are
@MartinNr5 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion Neil. I've found that it's a balance of having enough leverage to open the valve and having less motion when actuating the valve. In the end the valve blocks are unfortunately of such poor quality that it doesn't matter much how I use the controls.

Two words: pilot controls. For the small additional cost, upgrade to a pilot control machine. It's especially useful for novice operators. Very surprised that single-banger Koop meets Euro emission standards and is allowed to be imported. But I vaguely remember Norway isn't part of the Euro zone (it's all so muddled). Doesn’t look very safe the whole machine is to jerky and looks more complicated than a regular excavator I think if it had wider trac system it would be better just my opinion
@MartinNr5 Жыл бұрын
Hi Mark. It's actually a very simple machine but the quality of the controls are very uneven and rough. I got a narrow machine on purpose as it can get to places a bigger machine can't but you need to be aware of the fact that it tips easier than a wide machine. i have a review of the machine on my channel now if you want to know a bit more about it. Thanks for watching!

Du behövde något att lyfta av buren med! Kanske in liten grävmaskin eller liknande…🤣

Haha, ja nu har jag ingen ursäkt till att inte fortsätta köpa fler maskiner. ;)

My God what a joke the tread should be four times longer than they are....I guess you could always drive some stakes in the ground and run chains over to it to keep it from flipping over...

Looks like the crate was made of Birch Bark.. More Chinese quality.

I think you might need seat belt
@MartinNr5 Жыл бұрын
Hi Richard! I was considering it but I figured I'd be better off jumping off the machine than risk getting stuck under it if I use a seatbelt. Still not sure which option is to prefer to be honest.

I agree get rid of the music, it takes away from your presentation which is great! Thanks
@MartinNr5 Жыл бұрын
Hi Gary. Thanks for watching and thanks for the suggestion. The music is absolutely way too loud in this clip so although I keep the music - that's just how I prefer to edit my videos - I have reduced the volume significantly.

Thanks for the feedback. This is how I edit my videos as I think that the music adds to the experience.

I clearly have no damn life I sat here and skipped around on a 30 minute video to watch this guy unbox and put together a fucking toddler play toy that's a cute $1,000 play toy though

Hi! Thanks for watching. I'll be posting more videos where I put the machine through the paces so feel free to check those out to see what it can and can't do. It is cute though. ;)

Holy shit what a contraption i think i woud rater use a shovel
@MartinNr510 ай бұрын
Believe me, unless you have arms, shoulders, and a back of steel you'd rather use this for a majority of your shoveling work. :)

I got a 1 ton from this company, loose screws, weak metat in hydraulic parts, keep bending and braking, the worst customer service, the crate came destroyed and missing the Auger motor, just a horrible experience

I dont understand why anyone buys these things. By the time you pay for all the shipping, machine, fees, insurance, you name it, for a few grand more you can get a well used real mini.
