Washing 3 times is not haram. Please check your facts before making a video. Narrated Amr: My father saw Amr bin Abi Hasan asking Abdullah bin Zaid about the ablution of the Prophet. Abdullah bin Zaid asked for earthenware pot containing water and in front of them performed ablution like that of the Prophet (ﷺ) . He poured water from the pot over his hand and washed his hands thrice and then he put his hands in the pot and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out with three handfuls of water. Again he put his hand in the water and washed his face thrice and washed his forearms up to the elbows twice; and then put his hands in the water and then passed them over his head by bringing them to the front and then to the rear of the head once, and then he washed his feet up to the ankles. @@TheOne-mn9gs Wa alaykum assalam, All Jafari madhab (Imam Jaffar al Sadiq) scholars regard the third wash as haram and voids the wudu. Here is a fatwa - 247 - www.sistani.org/english/book/48/2152/ And here is the hadith from imam al sadiq (as) - '' executing the wudu once is obligatory, twice is insignificant (mustahab) but thrice is innovative. @@IslamicLessonsMadeEasy Brother, From most of the Islamic sources and imams I’ve founded so far the 3rd time in washing was the way prophet Muhammad may peace and blessings be upon him did, it is part of his sunnah to do it thrice but once is sufficient. I do believe the Hadith is authentic and no where does it say it’s haram.

@@TheOne-mn9gs Hadiths are graded into different categories and there may be a difference of opinion as to whether such an action is performed this way or that way. This all goes back to where we get our knowledge from and who narrated it and whether they are trustworthy or not. To discuss this one may need to learn Dirayat al-hadith and ilm al rijal. With all due respect, our school of thought does not consider all the hadith in Bukhari as sahih. We follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (s) and his of Ahlul Bayt (as) and what has been narrated to us in authentic hadiths.
