This is the story of a man named Oliver. Every other day, Oliver sat at his desk talking to a microphone for hours. During that time, he was asked to click on door 417 to receive an achievement. But Oliver refused to do it. He could not let a mere computer control his life, for Oliver was a human being and wanted to exercise his own free will. This made his viewers mad, and Oliver knew it perfectly well.

He even read the exit sign, but its like he somehow did not consciously think about what the sign means. So he completely misunderstood the narrators comment as urging him to move on (rather than "only go this way if you have seen everything you wanted" what it actually was supposed to communicate). But he did not miss anything important at least.

@@thetas-sounds(HUGE SPOILER) there's still 6 endings from the original game he hasn't done (going up with the elevator at the end of the bosses room, 2 endings for jumping out of the window, the escape pod ending, the bottom of the mind control facility ending and the baby game ending). Then there's also all of the new bucket endings, the whiteboard ending, the collectibles ending, the tape recorder ending, the epilogue and the "8" ending

@@GLUBSCHI some of these there is just no way spoilers a brazilian streamer i watch (Felps) did the baby ending, but i doubt that there is more people in the world with that time. But the main funny ones i would like to see. Like the bottom of the mind control facility ending. I dont think he will find it, as he dont usually exploit bugs from what i saw (he doesnt even use the f3 in minecraft) but its easy to get once you know it, and i love it.

The word you could have used around 40:00 to describe the mixing of dark and humorous is "juxtaposition": the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect.

Hear me out, the difference between "Ultra Deluxe" and "2" is that, with Ultra Deluxe, you can expect the same game but maybe with a graphical overhaul, more quality of life additions, and *maybe* a few more gameplay additions like extra gamemodes or indev content. "2" suggests that it's a separate game entirely, you can't play 2 if you want to play 1. It's like Portal : Still Alive, it's an add-on to the original portal with test chambers based off of the fanmade flash version which was released before Portal was. Portal 2 on the other hand, you can't play the original game since it takes place after the first game, chronologically.

To be fair, I think the "idea" of the game changes a lot depending on what angle you look at it from. If you are in endings such as the confusion, wife, red door or insanity endings, it's just a dream. If you are in the museum, unplugged, or blue door endings, it's just a game. Ultra Deluxe greatly depends on whether or not you played the original Stanley Parable, so you can understand the many references / have a "greater connection" with the narrator. After all, the skip ending probably would hit very, VERY hard if you enjoyed TSP back in 2013 as a 12 year old or something, because you associate the narrator as an old friend of sorts. So in other words, Ultra Deluxe's "idea" is that it's all just a video game that the narrator re-released to buy his third swimming pool.

Yo Oliver, the way i got to remember AM and PM was like this: the action you do at that time: AM = af madrassen (you leave your mattress in this half of the day). PM = på madrassen (you go onto you matress in this half of the day). Though after this is found out that i can just remember it by eftermiddag = post middag

What's the logic behind 12 PM following 11 AM, instead of 12 AM? The sequence "12 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11" for AM (and PM) does not make sense. What's the rational explanation for why 12 precedes 1? Why is 12 considered the first hour of the day/night cycle rather than the last? Why does a new day start at 12:00 AM rather than 1:00 AM? It doesn't make logical sense for 12 to be first. In a normal counting sequence, 12 should come after 11, not before 1. So why? Why do we go from 11:59 AM to 12:00 PM, rather than 12:00 AM? How does any of this make sense? Oliver understands AM/PM, he just doesn't understand 12AM vs 12PM. (And honestly, neither do I.)

@@cleverman383 Minutes represent a fraction of the next hour, so when you have 11:30 its 11 hours and half and hour from 12, so when you have 12:15 you have 12 hours and a quarter of the next 12:00 pm its that way cuz its also taking seconds and miliseconds into consideration of the next hour

@@cleverman383 the easiest way to recognize it is not to think in exact hours, but every half hour. so one would see 12:30 AM and go "hmm yes, 1 AM is in 30 minutes, so 12 AM was 30 minutes ago" or see 12:30 PM and go "1 PM is in 30 minutes, so 12 PM was 30 minutes ago" further, it helps to consider that "12:00 AM/PM" only lasts for a micro instant, anytime after the immediate change from 11:59 to 12 is 12:00:XX where X represents the seconds that have gone by. so by not thinking "the clock says 12 so it's exactly 12," one could see that it's past 12, therefore needing to change from AM to PM or vice versa
