It was Jake in the music video but the actual vocals with Derek on the whole of Tales Told By Dead Friends and A Lesson in Romantics are by Jason Lancaster, not Jake Bundrick. Jake was used in the music video because Jason already left the band at that point. The only time Jake sings on the whole of ALIR is at the end of Jamie All Over, he's nowhere on the original Miserable at Best :) listen to Jason's vocals and then Jake's, you can tell (a huge) difference ☺️

+Julian Worden This is a Mayday Parade song, it's not Derek's song, they wrote it as a band that's why the video says Mayday Parade. It's a standard thing for only one or two people in the band to perform somewhere. The front-person in a band will have the largest portion of the publicity, and its part of their job, that's why they're called the frontman or frontwoman (usually the singer). Mayday Parade fans know and care about all the members of the band.
