What we are now witnessing in the larger society is the result of decades of work within academia and government to destroy the private-property system of the West and replace it with a new socialist order. From the 2020 Supporters Summit, presented at the historic Jekyll Island Club Resort on Jekyll Island, Georgia, on 9 October 2020.

When I attended the University of Maryland College Park studying math, physics, chemistry, geology, meteorology, and a little astronomy during the 1990's, the administration was obsessed with diversity, which is the same as multi culturalism. I saw right through it that it was promoted by communist's.

Originally gov had right to make law on federal lands only. The state maintained control of everything around it. Taxes occurred on federal lands. States taxes the resources the feds took from the states. Eventually a legal state was created to give money to the states for providing services to the feds such as fire fighting, asylums, hospitals, etc. the military when they want to use a service off post (federal lands) they had to be sure the state and feds had a contract for the use of that service. Those same places under contract had policies set in place to provide those services to the military members. However they started pushing all those services against all people who used the service even when they were not military. The states then can charge the federal government more money. Hospitals for example are force birth certificates upon non military, making the citizens of the federal lands (United States not america) and and therefore because the feds tax military members (citizens of federal lands) they tax the all the people. They never had that power. The birth certificate and citizenship is a federal law which was suppose to apply to the military and dependents using a hospitol off federal lands. Free people do not require birth certificates because they don’t need to prove who they are to the government because they weren’t intended to be a part of it. Same with schools, federal residents of VA hospitals were “officers and employees” of the federal lands- they lived and worked there they were federal (United States) citizens and had to have contracts with the feds and the states to send their children to the schools in the state. The schools required the federal children to meet requirements- then they started forcing all those requirements upon all children. You get a license required by the feds for any purpose and you must comply with the laws. You don’t get a license- you don’t have to comply. Problem is that most people do not realize that the federal government is the seat and lands purchased for defenCe purposes which are the “posts” or commonly called military lands. That is the United States and they have citizens on those lands who are United States citizens and residents on those lands. A licensed doctor is one who is not practicing medicine on those citizens on federal lands. Think about it.... the whole people or one people described by Upshure in the book below are not citizens of a government and not on government lands and do not have licenses and are not under those powers. They are by the Declaration of Independence, natural persons with rights given them by their creator and those rights cannot be removed. When they join the government they are promised certain rights listed in the bill of rights that are specifically protected by government so that they may freely speak in congress and so that those who are in the military may wear their arms as part of their uniform when in congress. Sources below. All Americans should read this if they want to understand why the constitution is not what hey think it is. Reminds me of a common joke told in the former Soviet Union. A man walks into a store that is supposed to sell food. The man asks the clerk, while standing in front of an empty display case and says "Is this the store that doesn't have any meat"? The clerk replies, "Comrade, you have the wrong store!" "This is the store that doesn't have fish!", "The store you seek that does not have meat is across the street!".

Great video except one contention. To say that communism starts with atheism is a platitude in itself. Look no further than Ayn Rand to exemplify this. She was an atheist yet you couldn't find a more tenacious opponent of communism. Also, opposing religion and communism wasn't simply a philosophical contradiction as she successfully argued against both coherently.

this guy has obviously never read Marx in his life!! People need to understand what and how capitalism works and that is what Marx writes about. economic theory is what he writes about and all of the abolition of family stuff this guy is talking about is in reference to Marx's critique of capitalism not about socialism or communism. i understand that most of the people responding in these comments have been taught that communism is bad throughout there lives, but instead of just agreeing with that blanket statement everyone should actually read Marx theory so as to understand what it actually is all about. Everything that i was taught about the subject from school was about as accurate as American history was. it is remarkable how we teach and feel about our history in America. I am about as patriotic as one can be, i love my country and i also love justice. only when we learn our true history can we put forth the effort to right the wrongs and build a better future. everyone can see what our country is going through currently and it all comes down to economics and the lack of understanding about our history..

@@donaldclifford5763 well my motive for commenting on this section was to illicit an actual conversation from somebody who may want to better understand the situation that we're in but as i can see nobody wants to actually talk about actual economics and history, they just want to attempt cheap shots as to not be confronted with an actual idea that may very well shatter their entire worldview. I myself used to believe that it would be possible to mold and shape capitalism into something that could be beneficial to the world but history has shown that as long as you leave the structures in place to have very few people with all of the means to control and dictate outcomes every advance that people have fought for and gained have all been systematically rolled back by the few controlling all of the means of production. So obviously it is the system itself that is the problem, and all one really needs to do is take a real good look at world history and economic theory to understand. My goal was not to magically change your mind it was only to have an educated conversation that might open your mind to the understanding of some of the critiques of capitalism, so that you may understand better why we are in the situation that we are in.

To me it's hilarious that the Mises Institute has digitized Mises's works, and it gives them away as "free" ebooks over the internet, when in other contexts Austrian economists argue that "free goods" are impossible. Also the practice ignores price signals about the value of Mises's work, misallocates scarce resources and contributes to economic chaos.

In today's world of mega global corporate monopolies, AI & automation, we just need EVERY job which can be automated to be automated asap, including all the white collar jobs soon to be replaced with AIs which are better than humans. Then once they are basically corps running themselves automatically, 'globalise' (the same as nationalise but on a global scale) all those automated corps & make every human being on Earth a non-transferrable shareholder in all those corps - getting quarterly share 'dividends' (as good as a UBI) for the rest of their lives. If markets are supposed to tell us important things about the world, then what does it say about Mises that he couldn't get a real academic job when he migrated to the United States? Instead a formed a relationship with the ad man Lawrence Fertig, which resembled the relationship between Karl Marx and the businessman Friedrich Engels. Fertig bribed New York University to give Mises an office and pretend that he had a job there as a "visiting scholar," or words to that effect, while he paid Mises a salary from his own pocket.

It's not that I disagree with the LvMI people, but the way they characterize things is, I think, lazy. They are dismissive of the ideas they are against, don't really get into them, and give very ham fisted, polemical explanations of the ideas themselves. And Mises was like that too. It must be the reason why Berlin refused to mention Mises by name or cite his work, even though they clearly agreed on many things. It's not that I'm pedantically technical, either. They just don't clearly explain things. They speak in a way as to capture the audience but not inform them.
@TheEmptySki
@TheEmptySki 3 жыл бұрын
What he doesn't say, maybe because he doesn't know it, when he talks about the current ideological indoctrination, is that the Marxian theory of ideology (itself a derivation of de Stutt de Tracy's theory) was psychologized into a version of the theory of consciousness, which has been racialized by activists. Neo-Marxism differs from Marx primarily in that it has abandoned economic materialism and embraced psychological and cultural practices, i.e., not material or economic concerns. The LvMI dismiss this at their own risk. They can argue the economic case, but the Marxist are no longer even making that argument.
@TheEmptySki
@TheEmptySki 3 жыл бұрын
The leftists want to abolish the family might be "straight out of the communist manifesto, but it is better understood through the framework of Freudian Marxism (Marcuse in particular). There is a reason it is the "transgender" and "LGBTQ" communities who are against the family and it has more to do with Freud than Marx. Communists 75 years ago were very pro-nuclear family and family values. So was Mao, believe it or not. The One Child Policy came into China only after (and immediately after) Mao died because Mao was against Malthusian logic. These are the things that are missed by the LvMI people (and really most other analysts as well).
