In the late 80's there was a small amphibious motorized vehicle that had working head lights. The gimmick was that it was light enough to move across the surface of a water but if you turned it over the holes on the side pontoons would fill with water making it heavy enough to ride on the bottom of your tub or pool or what ever. They had super small pilots with 4 points of articulation. I cannot for the life of me find anyone else who has seen or heard or had them other than myself.

@@theramplocal It was not! Thanks for replying. It was rather smallish. A little bigger than Firefly from M.A.S.K. It was a long time ago end of the 80's so I admit that my memory might be definitely fallible here.

That Tomy robot is sweeet. That same toy company actually built a real robot "SORA-Q" that landed on the moon on the JAXA SLIM lander last year (2023)!

I remember some robots that were kind of big but they had suction cups for bottoms and could squirt water out...I dont know what they were called they were around the early to mid 80s lol

Those are from Robo Force! They have the suction cups and there was definitely at least one figure that squirted water.
