it's song about an unfaithful guy losing love. NOT MURDER. It symbolizes the rock star life of the 70's. A womanizing punk who partied loud. Murder is a pretty common metaphor used to symbolize killing a part of someone. Like murdering someone's heart. 52 is a famous number of sex positions so he's saying "there's 52 ways to fuck (over) anyone" sex, cheating, and losing his love are the central themes of this song. "1 and 2 are the same..." The first two sex positions are doggy...

I don't think the Danzig misfits sound anything like traditional punk...maybe we have adifferent idea of traditional punk though. I would consider the Ramones and the sex pistols as traditional sounding punk. The misfits with Danzig sounded nothing like that to me. Danzig may have been a dick at times but his lyrics and sound have not been replicated by any band I have heard...not even the misfits after Danzig.

Good song off a good album, but I always thought it was weird that they used that ultra-thick 90s-metal guitar tone for a song like this that's supposed to be in the style of 1950s rock and roll, cuz I think it kinda ruins the whole 50s vibe they're going for. I think this song would've been way better with a thinner sounding guitar like on the original (real) Misfits' song "American Nightmare."

He is gone at least I learnt something in the end.. And here I am crying on Saturday night..

Ah,teeny problems... ;) The world is so simple in those years. He got hurt and it's not your fault so there's nothing to regret there except maybe if you weren't honest about your feelings. He's gotta stif up and get over it,rejection is a big part of life and you've gotta start being careful with male friendships because young boys' feelings are easily aroused (and I don't mean sexually mind you). A lot of times boys pretend to be just a friend while in truth their hearts are dying for that friend of theirs... And btw that amazing friend you seek will be your husband if you ever get married, least that's how marriage should work hehe. But since you've made your decision I recommend you stand by it and move on. Here's another song to cry on btw: Helloween-In the middle of a heartbeat.
