I like there being a touch of mystery in there. I'm not suprised Glenn hasn't (to my knowledge) "officially" put down many of his lyrics, going by other decisions/traits of his. I like hearing different Misfits members discuss something like "We Are 138" , you get everything from the number on a robot patch that a few of them had to Glenn saying " (I forget who) doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. That song is about violence." This long story of this patch with a robot and the number, which I'd bet did exist, but then Glenn comes over it with "it's about violence". Nuff' said, I think.

This song doesn't have very much content, si we don't have a lot of context to work on. We have some disjointed disturbing imagery. Little cats crying, tortured babies in pain, and maggot-infested iron lungs kind of go together. Allegorical personification of an abstract such as "love" with eyes? It doesn't fit. Plus, Glenn is to good to rhyme "love" with "love." That's just shitty songwriting. That you're trying to shoehorn your misheard lyrics into this lil ditty is evidence that you don't know much about this song, Glenn Danzig's work in a broader sense, or the explication of lyrics in general. Take a deep breath, open your mind, and listen to it again.
