Although Papi and Gib would stylistically make for a great fight, I don't think Papi is in the position to fight Gib if we're considering Gib as a titleholder. He dominated Slim who knocked Papi out within 4 rounds. That puts Papi and Gib a league apart from each other regardless of Papi's performance against Kenny. I want to see the Slim vs Papi rematch. Papi can definitely beat Slim with this relaxed, defensive, counterpunching style. As for Gib, he deserves big fights like the kind of fights that KSI and Jake are taking. But if yall are going to give him one more guy from the Misfits roster, it has to be Anthony Taylor.

True, but the fact that Ksi has ducked AT for bigger name fights makes me feel like Gib doesn't have to take that either. AT is the threshold of pro/MMA striker level though, like an in-house Woodley without the clout.The title-holding champs should be roping in bigger name crossover fights, to keep building the promotion's pedigree, instead of fighting champs of other weight classes.

He has lost as many times as he has won so I would say switch to a new coach at least for 1 fight.

Ksi has a size and power advantage over AT though. Like the tommy fury-KSI fight was closer than tommy fury-AT fight. Everyone knows JJ's technique is shocking, but he does make up for it with power, athleticism, stamina etc, and technique isn't the only thing that wins fights. Also ksi's unorthodoxy makes him tougher.

Jay got an apparent brain injury according to an MRI scan in the beginning of fight week. He wanted to issue another MRI scan from another neurologist to make sure that the scan was legit, but at that point it was too late and so he pulled out in case the injury could've been life threatening. He spoke about it with Romell on their podcast
